clutterless, just download the K-Meleon-1.6db+NS package from the web site mentioned earlier, open the compressed 7z file in 7Zip, extract all the K-meleon files onto a folder and run the k-meleon.exe file, which already has the built-in Noscript extension installed. done deal

QuoteJamesD Perhaps you could try the privacy.dll file from here. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1522294/K-Meleon1.6.0_Beta2dot5_en-US.7z It is original code, just re-compiled. I believe it works OK. hi JamesD. I tried this specific version of KM on Vista & Win7 several weeks ago and it has not crashed on exit or when closing the KM browser. woo!

Quote4td8s since KM-1.6db+NS is using gecko 1.9.1.x much like Fred's unofficial KM-16-S20xx/KM-16-FF35xx and official KM 1.6 alpha/beta releases, KM-1.6db+NS still suffers from occasional crashes when exiting/closing the browser window with multiple tabs open. I have not encountered these occasional "crash" issues with KM-1.7db+ I seem to not encounter any crashes issues on ex

QuoteKleon According to the 'Development' page KM 1.6.0 Beta 3 was released on 2011-12-12. However, it has been removed from the download page. Can I get this version from someplace else? Or was it removed for a good reason? no Kleon, KM 1.6b3 was mentioned on the Development page but the actual beta 3 downloads were never posted, thus ending up with non-existent links to them.

Quotedugbugoffice2 The version of NS is 2.5 now. And you now have full options now with it. There is an issue with frames with NS as it is with FireFox. You can turn off the frames in about:config but it still works when tested. http://www.draac.com/framestest.html All the security works, but the frames is still on. K-meleon db 1.7 types works no frames, but the NS version of 1.6 doe

Quotendebord 4td8s, Sorry, my computer died. Hope to be back up soon. no worries, N. Adobe has just released Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.270 in this Adobe forum thread. For those users who are still having crashes with Flash 11.3 on their Vista/Win7 machines, try this new build. Otherwise, stick with either Flash 11.3.300.268 or the latest builds of Flash 11.2 or Flash 10.3.

Quotendebord 4td8s, I had early problems, and went to NPSWF32_10.3.183.20_HEXed version. I have not liked the 11.xx line at all since it showed up, but it took me until now to make the switch. All thanks to you who got me to get around to hexing the older version also. well I don't have any serious issues with the early flash 11.x releases (like 11.0 and 11.1). it's the latte

If you're gonna use Flash Player 11 under K-meleon, make sure it's either Flash version 11.0, 11.1 or 11.2. Flash Player 11.3 is causing major problems with Firefox 13.0 and Seamonkey 2.10.0 (though some of the crashes are fixed by installing Firefox 13.0.1 and Seamonkey 2.10.1). Adobe needs to release a newer build of Flash 11.3 to correct a bunch of problems with v11.3.300.257 of

since previous releases of Flash Player 11 (like 11.0, 11.1 and 11.2) seem to work okay on my machine with K-meleon, the newest version of Flash Player (11.3) should run fine. edit: I'm having second thoughts of using Flash Player 11.3 with K-meleon as Firefox 13 users are having problems with the Flash Player 11.3 plugin.

QuoteKleon QuoteJamesD New Flash player available. 11,3,300,257 Can you run that on your Win32 system? I get an error message (64-bit only). I don't get that error message when installing flash 11.3 on my Win7 x64 machine and on my WinXP 32bit machine. check these folders carefully on your 64bit computer: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\ C:\Windows\SysWoW64\Macromed\Flash\

what I really like about fred's KM16-F3628 release or any older KM16-F36xx releases is that they do not crash on my Vista/Win7 machines when I close KM properly (woo!) unlike KM 1.6 beta 2 and fred's KM16-F35xx/KM16-SM20xx releases I've used in the past where they do crash on exit when running them on Vista/Win7.

Quoterodocop you need WinRAR archiver to open .rar-files. Or 7zip to open 7z-files. Also you can take one of the builds from my signature - they don't need installation - just unpack somewhere you want... though the newest versions of Winzip and 7Zip can open RAR files. you just need to set either one of them to open them in their respective Options menu. also, Winzip 12 and highe
