I agree with adodupan, you should sign up as to answering your question: I use K-meleon because of how light it is on my resources I have a p4 with 2GB of ram I EXTENSIVELY use google docs at work and thus was forced to change to chrome. Note - "change" it's by no means an upgrade - just having one google docs spreadsheet open takes up ~150MB of memory (the spreadsheet is a simp

This is...wow...Thank you Tons for this!! I didn't think someone would actually make an extension of it! I was thinking I'd be linked to some old post about binding accelerators or some such and be left to figure it out for myself. Thanks for your awesome work!

Hi All, I'm trying to figure out a way to assign a snippet of JS to a keyboard hotkey (Ctrl+Space in this case) The aim is to: 1) Bookmark a page to Googlebookmarks, Get a New (and small) window to open 2) After bookmarking, the window should automatically close, and the user can resume browsing This is the Snippet of code I wanted to use (needs you to be logged into your gmail/goo

Yep, I have, installed that (VC2005 redistributable) and when it didn't work, I installed VC2008 redistributable, then SP1 for vc2008 redis. No go unfortunately Edit: I've fixed it! I *still* have no clue how or why it got fixed, but all I did was Download a build made by Fred (KM-16-S2013 to be exact) I extracted the file to desktop and then ran it (no other instances of KM were run

Hi all I've spent about 2 hrs now and no matter WHAT version I've tried I keep getting the same result: No Back, Forward, Go etc buttons (IIRC that was called the Main Toolbar, well that bar is entirely missing). Manual Domain completion no longer works (e.g. pressing Ctrl+Enter to get the www. and .com prefix/suffix) and the privacy features (Javascript on/off, FlashBlock etc) are g

Ah I see, Sort of a bummer since I was hoping I'd continually send in bug reports as I found them (y'know to get 1.7 moving) but yeah if the purpose of 1.7a2 (and additional?) is no more than a test to keep up with new Gecko engine releases. With the REAL dev work focusing on 1.6b2, Then I might as well downgrade. Thanks for the spell check tips - out of curiosity does 1.6b2 have

Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this please let me know if it isn't. I browse a lot of web page source code and with KM1.7a2 when I 'view source' and then try to search for something (ctrl+f) the search box turns red (as in no results found) as soon as I type the first letter. I'm not really sure how to fix that. Other than that I like how

Hey Guenter! Thanks for the tip! I actually had a copy of k-meleon 1.6a4 from 2 months ago but it wasn't working for me, on a whim and after reading you post, I tried it and sure enough it Automagically worked! (Personally that bugs me, I like to know WHAT caused it to work but honestly I have no clue). So thanks to you, K-meleon 1.6 runs, and How! On a topically related note - I was t

Hi all, Long time lurker and user of K-meleon here, decided to finally break the silence since google was showing no love to my browser of choice (and Opera too!) I know this is pretty simple so don't laugh (too much)! As the title suggests I wanted to try out Google Instant but it's only optimized for the most un-optimized browsers out there (i.e. Firefox, Chrome, IE8(?!))! With
