K-Meleon Twin+ is definitely for you, Mikk! Look for it in my sig! It contains both 1.6 and 1.7 builds (based on dugbug's assemblies but enhanced) in one portable package. Try it. There are numerous threads here about Twin in 'General' forum. Also there were numerous 1.7-based builds by Fred. Search on forum (for all the time not 'last 30 days' or 'last year&

I think K-Meleon gets popular now - so, the load rises and some refuses begin.

This bug about session crash is also described here in thread already. I can say additionally that setting browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand to false doesn't solve this bug and KM continues to lose tabs from time to time on browser's crashes.

One more bug of all last betas (b4-24 and b4-30 and naruman's 'forks') is that one: time to time the browser does expirience some sort of 'losing focus' (I cannot say more technically as I don't understand this behaviour) on the page and cannot get it back even but mouse click on page. After losing it, page cannot be driven by arrow keys on keyboard (neither by P

One more example: http://m.sovsport.ru/ - this is a mobile version of one of the russian sport sites. It has about 160 links on the page and the one before last is the counter: Trying to PrintPreview this page results in no PrintPreview window (nor in progress, neither the ready preview) but the page itself changes automatically to http://m.mobtop.ru/ - mobile version of that counter'

I've tested PrintPreview finally. So what I can say. Some pages work fine: they are previewed and printed correctly. But sometime pages (mostly services or sites where I'm logged in) begin to relogin me (unsuccessfully in general) and preview is made from one frame or even fails, directing my page to one of the links, placed on page. But I've found that simple 'Print&

On my laptop I can get print preview but I never tried to print it. On my netbook even getting print preview fails and crashes KM (under 7) or simply fails - under XP.

I think the problem hides somewhere in your rootfolder\browser\chrome\browser - folder as both AdBlock and Print Preview depend on some js-components, placed there.

So a little testing report. Naruman, you did great job but something goes wrong there. I've tried your builds on 2 my PCs - mostly of the same config (laptop&netbook ASUS, Win7 Ultimate, 2gb RAM, dual-core CPUs - CoreDuo T2130 on laptop and Atom N450 on netbook). The trick is that the result is crucially different: on laptop it works good and all your stuff runs smoothly. On netboo

This is not your bug, JohnHell. I second bugreport by JamesD but with some details: this doesn't happen every time, but frequenly. Sometimes there are no file downloaded (download window says: "0 bytes downloaded"), sometime download finishes but the result file in target folder remains being with *.part - extension not renamed to his one name. For example: downloading file

Dorian, one more question: what is home.kmm? Looking into I can only guess that it tries to implement some sort of Skin saving (toolband config etc.) But how does it work? UPD.: I'm sorry - this macrofile is a part of naruman's earlier updates.

QuoteDorian WFM. Any error in the error console? I have only this in Error Console: I think this isn't connected with my glitch but maybe the reason is that I've installed b4 overwriting oldest beta. Next time I'll try fresh install. Is there a portable b4 archive? QuoteDorian There is no change in the session plugin, except an experimental support of "browser.s

You have not to install it as it has heavy performance impact to the KM in work. But if you want to try yourself, take it there in message. ***** One more update: page scroll works fine with Mouse Gestures on. But some 'on-page' scrolls don't work (like here where the code is given)

if someone still needs this... QuoteJohnHell You can try by disabling hardware acceleration. Set, through Edit>Configuration>Browser Configuration (aka about:config) the preference layers.acceleration.disabled to true. It's better to have it disabled. At least in my side, doesn't mean anyting good.

Upd.: made some tests. In my KM74b30 (on Win7 too) scrolling by dragging WORKS together with Mouse Gestures! But it didn't work when AdBlock was installed. Removing AdBlock from installation (not disabling!) makes scroll work! KM74b4 - same result.

QuoteJohnHell No, it handles in html5, just enable it at https://www.youtube.com/html5. It just it isn't by default, even in Firefox. Beautiful, JohnHell! Thank you for this lesson!

sometimes it works, sometimes - not. I think, the difference hides itself in video hardware config and in the flashplayer version. KM still handles youtube videos as Flash not HTML5 as I can see.

QuoteMello I guess from my experience that scroll bar issue when gestures are enabled hasn't yet been resolved? Yes. This bug is fixed now. About Evernote. As I know - it had discontinued bookmarklet support. It doesn't work. But some bookmarklets do not work in KM as it doesn't support multiline-js. You can exec any long bookmarklets, user-styles and other js-based scri

Mello, my sig is populated by different assemblies, made by community, that I consider to be most useful in my own work. When KM was in 3 years hibernation period (most of us believed it was dead) there was a need to create custom builds in order to compensate some 'holes' in old engine functionality. K-Meleon-1.6db+NS - dugbugoffice creates his optimized build with some tweaks and

in KM74b4 Keyword autosearch works only through Google regardless whatever engine you choose. The most recent portable build, published by Dorian, hasn't option to choose engine for Keyword Autosearch but it uses default search engine which COULD be changed by user - thus you can use this feature in way you want

Same on b4 sometimes. Switching tabs or even apps (Alt+tab) may fix this or may not. May be just some long time needed or focus - I don't understand.

The next problem found is that 'previous session' gets broken frequently - restarting KM opens only one (last) tab from that session.
