There are some trick here. Perhaps. Some sites don't allow KM to work with modern UA's (they check browser by some other way in addition, I think) - you need UA-string from corresponding FF. I use from FF 3.6, for example: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.9.2.19) Gecko/20110707 Firefox/3.6.19 I'm not sure, but may be it would help you... Facebook works perfect in my 1.6.

What version of KM using? OS? Else... If 1.5.x - then upgrade to 1.6 and use modern UserAgent string if needed.

Try to set modern UserAgent string, for example: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:1.9.2.29) Gecko/20120126 Firefox/3.6.29 (set Windows version corresponding to yours own) In any case, there is something wrong with your system, not KM, if you have permanent problems.

I think it worth to do vice versa: set Proxomitron as proxy for Privoxy and Privoxy - for KM (just change port number in proxy settings) - thus you would be able to use one button macro for web filter (Privoxy).

This is my new extension, which integrates Privoxy webfilter into K-Meleon. I've checked gmail with the same build you use (it's my default too) - just ignore the Google message about outdated browser and reject an offer to update it. Then you would be redirected to the simplified version of gmail. Just select standard version below the page. where do you paste UA-string into? This helps to all, so something is wrong with your config. Try to use CommMeleon 1.6 from my signature - it's portable so no need to delete your current K-Meleon

As I understand you need somethink like symlinks to you favorites. This isn't possible here, but why not to simply copy needed links to Toolbar Folder? Use Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V inside Bookmarks Editor to copy links where they are and copy into Toolbar folder.
