I see that a new improved DTA 1.0 is now available for Firefox and was wondering if a similar extension could be made available for K-Meleon Browsers, then there would be no need for an external download manager. I know that this has been requested before, but thought it would be good to revisit it again.

In the LinuxUsable 18112plus version, this is obtainable by going to Tools-Browser Options and selecting Windows Only (this selection disables the layers plugin); a restart of the browser is required. (Something similar may be other versions)

I used a brand new profile, as I do whenever I try out the different versions of KM (saving only the plugins folder, bookmarks and the downloader scripts that you were so kind to provide recently :-)

Clarification on the Adblock, when I said nothing happens, I'm refering to the option drop down, there is none. The javascript button works, but the drop down shows is it as Adblock Preference.

Then something is wrong, as I said, when I click on the "Adblock" or "Preference" ( a left click or a right click) nothing happens and when I hover my cursor over the "S", it is identified as "Adblock Preference in the drop down (that's why I asked where was the "toggle button". Just curious', is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you Fred. Works like a charm with Stardownloader. Now if only they could somehow put a "resume" feature in K-Meleon's downloader for those sites that refuse to let you use an outside download manager. Thanks again :-) CJ

Aha! there is a button on the toolbar titled "Javascript Toggle", unfortunately, clicking on it does nothing :-( . I placed the script in the "Silverbird" toolbars.cfg since that is the skin I use. Is this correct? and if not, where should it be placed? tia
