Cool Now would be interesting to know how it happened, as, as far as I know, there isn't a GUI switch to toggle it :-? or I may be wrong too. Was the Gecko K-meleon or the roytam's Goanna K-meleon for Windows 2000? Maybe he set to disabled (and I'm now lazy and tired to check by myself )

Read the FAQ here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/FAQ#Plugins There are specific setting for each plugin, so I doubt you disabled them all. Check the preferences (at about:config) filtered by "plugin." (without quotes). If you don't find them disabled, nor "globally", might be your system (maybe banned by the antivirus software). In any case, you could copy t

I feel that you are right here too Maybe too many links on the side would be unnecessary and overwhelming. And include back the content to the home page, wouldn't be better either. Maybe leave as it is now is just enough. Quick and simple. My concern, or my dilemma, is that the Welcome page, that after all has all the main sections, is kind of hidden to the eyes of visitors/user

QuoteJohnHell I thought that could be done a real sitemap to know what page belongs to what section/page, instead the Welcome page as it is now. But now is just an idea over my head and I don't find good approaches to do it right, anyway. After fiddle here and there, it doesn't worth the effort. The wiki doesn't track correctly each page links nor the backlinks, so it is impossib

QuoteRJJIII Starting from KMeleonWiki, here is the macro library template and a page using the template: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/view;MacroTemplate?version=49 [...] And, yes, I could start from "Home" as it is in the sidebar. The reason I mention starting from K-Meleon or K-Meleon Wiki is to make the trails look similar to the older pages and translated pages. It's po

QuoteRJJIII 1. K-Meleon > Sidebar Link > Page What I think would be the best option is to start every trail from either K-Meleon or "K-Meleon Wiki" If going this way... why not "Home" instead/then? Would match the sidebar and wouldn't be redundant. I mean, you are already on K-meleon website, no need to repeat, so, if the hierarchy would start on the sidebar...

Quoteroytam1 (getting error message when posting whole changelog, so snapped) A forbidden word has been used. Avoid dubious links and bad behavior. Such activities are reported to your service providers. If after fix it you still have problems, report to administrators in Support thread. Error code: 0x1E210406 Wow, you really got caught with a very hard one to match there. It is a very har

QuoteWasiFH The problem still exists; why greasify cann ot apply this userscript, while successfully appying all other user scripts? At that point, might be CSP (Content Security Policy) not allowing the execution of inline injected JavaScript. Try switching the pref, if you still want to dig. Should be: security.csp.enable to false Switch it just to test. For the average user is a pr

QuoteWasiFH Whatever the reason, when changing google.com to some google.co.uk OR google.cn, it applies, on plain google.com it doesnt. Might be that you load, if I understood correctly, the page on a frame? Any other way, I don't have a clue why would happening, as I don't use Greasify, but might be that, for whatever reason, it doesn't find the URL to apply it.

Thanks for the report. A dumb mistake that has been already fixed. Only 20 days without the sidebar menu (I should be very ashamed). The mistake might have come when I was testing the responsive layout. That must be there as a preallocation/preload of the responsive logo and it is also where it is placed the darker logo. I should preallocate/preload the darker logo as well, but that wou

QuotePaco leaves the page blank » https://cadenaser.com/emisora/2020/10/27/radio_cordoba/1603821076_498548.html The page loads without JavaScript enabled, what you have easy to switch with K-meleon Cadena Ser does one of the most dumbest things out there to load the page. Regardless of the client side features, it loads the same page, but if the client has JS enabled removes all conten

I can't tell where is the problem, but I can assure that setInterval and setTimeout, while are inside an anonymous auto executed function (that is "(function(){code here})();"), works, while you browse with JavaScript enabled (that means the page has been loaded with JavaScript enabled and not disabled thereafter), and you do, at least if the script is injected with a macro injectJ

QuoteStavros B May I provide the URL on here, or will the post get banned? You don't need to ask for permission. You can provide any URL..., as long as it complies with laws, ethics, isn't nothing against your own privacy, etc, etc, etc, as then I'll have to edit it just to be safe (some people even post porn sites urls, without any issue, so the range of freedom is wide...).

That is already off-topic here Just do a search on your preferred search engine. From here, I only can tell that those there aren't already blocked by the country ISPs require latest browsers versions, so, to date, I can't recommend anyone. I don't use anyone now. I just use roytam's Newmoon and I extract manually the url with HTTP Fox/monitor extension. Not the most ea

Just set an interval. I don't use Google with javascript enabled (and certainly I don't use much Google nowadays), but a couple of notes: 1.- Google doesn't use "anymore" (and if they do, it might be anecdotal) onmousedown (any event, actually) as html attributes but as event listeners, so I find the code useless, because what it tries is to remove the attributes of l

QuoteWasiFH Edit2: I wonder why other except 2 or 3 are NOT reporting this crash? Talking by myself, I don't use this version of K-meleon (any 76 and above) because is not compatible with XP SP2, so I can't report, but keep reporting so roytam reads it. On 7 and above there are .wer files with the crash reports, tell here the details of the crashes, if they leave a trace, of course

A little update on this topic But nothing to worry First of all, the domain was paid for another new year (thank you to whoever did it) And the other thing is that the first post serving as manual, just in case expires, has been updated to reflect a change made by SourceForge recently. You couldn't imagine, to date, the huge number of bots trying to violate servers perimeters. We

Ok, I think this can go live... I have added a Dark Theme for the K-meleon Forum. I do emphasis there: Forum. As the forum is the only thing I have a little control over. But, still, the control is weak and so it has its drawback that I'll explain later. I did this, not to follow the trends on setting a darker theme on sites to save battery on mobile devices or whatever, but... well, b

I didn't know disroot offered more services than a Searx instance Doesn't webmail.disroot.org work? Looks like a lightweight login page and is the one linked on their services page disroot.org/en/#services Also, if they offer IMAP, use it. Among the average Internet user I'm like an alien, but I always used mail services through mail clients instead web interfaces and, do

QuoteGewittertierchen Or did something go wrong then? No. QuoteGewittertierchen How do I know if the browser has really been updated? There aren't bells and whistles telling you are running a new build, if that is what you are expecting. As far, you can check it on platform.ini, in K-meleon root folder, and from Help > About K-meleon. It works the same as any other portable

QuoteGewittertierchen Is there a German language pack for the current K-Meleon version or can I somehow set the browser to German? Edit menu > Preference > GUI appearance > General. Select from there the desired language. QuoteGewittertierchen Do I need to download and install the latest 7Z file about once a week to update the browser? And won't all customizations be lost

Quote Is the core engine of KM-Goanna not the latest one? If you mean the lastest Goanna engine version, no, it is not (or yes to the above question). http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/FAQ#notdead Quote When will it be updated? You have weekly updates here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?19,154431 But it is unavoidable that it will lag behind the living HTML standard.

Not of any that I'm aware off. And I don't recommend editing bookmarks.html even after a backup at risk of corrupting it; nor iconcache.dat (that I think is no more than an icon library file, but, anyway, it is a binary file). I tested myself the manual editing of bookmarks.html without success. Something else is involved and I don't know what is it.
