I see. Looks like that section is not available in 75.0 preferences panel. I only have "Global history" and "URL bar history". Maybe was included later, in 75.1 or 76 alpha/beta. I'm lazy to test it today (75.1, as I can't run 76).

moz_places is the table for the normal history. The column you are pointing to, is the title of the visited page. Those aren't the words in the form elements. Just in case you thought it. BTW, where is the Clear "Form History" option in a default K-meleon 75.0 install? I can't see it in Tools menu.

Probably in the moz_inputhistory table in places.sqlite. And probably get rid of it by browser.formfill.enable false. I carry it from years ago, so I don't have any input/form history and therefore, the table is empty in my case. If it was previously configurable in the preferences panel, I can't find it. Maybe was missing in the new versions. EDIT: but here says that is moz

Quotepsmith Unfortunately, that means no K-meleon unless there's a linux port.... Not native, but on Wine. Jujuland is a Linux K-meleon user.

Yep, some year I can't remember, they had some kind of hardware error and since then the lost of pictures, absolutely random, became the usual behavior of Imageshack. I was using it since almost its beginning (2004/2005) and since then I have tens of images missing. Of course, it is only a sharing hosting and I have local backups/originals, but was/it is so sad. Even premiums are no

Since the 1st of November, Imageshack will be only a premium site, affecting all free accounts images by blocking their access. In other words, Imageshack images posted by free accounts users won't be visible. 31st of January of 2016, will be finally deleted. In the case of this forum, it will be important as there are quite a few images here from that hosting used as visual descriptio

Edit menu > Preferences In the Preferences Window, it will be displayed the Browsing options about opening behavior and in the "Window diversion" tab, in the most top left of the options panel to the right of the tree. Also, you'll see in the tree the Tabbed Browsing. Make sure it is enabled if you use tabs (I don't). F2 was referring to the keyboard key to press

No legality violating. When you choose to view the page info in Firefox, the new window has an icon tab called media to show the exact things our macro displays. From my side I grant Dorian any right if he wishes to include it.

The behavior is the same as Firefox or Seamonkey. You can't save background images directly. As simple as that. To accomplish, would involve to check every html element below the mouse pointer click for a background image and guess which one the user wants to save/view, as there are nested html elements. Maybe you mean why the macro by Siria and me is not included by default :-?

QuoteVoltaire That's what I expect ... but I'll have to doublecheck what happens as that dialogue does not always appear ... What can make look an image as a link without being an image itself? Answer: CSS to set background images. You can use this macro to enhance the default one to show page images and from there download it. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,123209

QuoteVoltaire But concerning FaceBook: I wonder that with K-Meleon usually a "big long page" is loaded (with lots of entires), visible at the very thin scrollbar-mover, while with some other browsers loading is just as you scroll down (about 5 entries at once, making the page increase by scrolling down). Wow, didn't know that happens now. I just tested and a big bunch of entries

Even what Siria is saying is true, have in mind that blocking third party doesn't work as you imagine. In a static site where all belongs to the same domain, third party is a subdomain. Example: www.facebook.com loading scripts from scripts.facebook.com and the rule set to block third party, won't allow scripts.facebook.com to load, although they are in the same domain. About

Quotesiria QuoteJohnHellAs I said a few months back: MegaDL from MegaTools pack. But no luck, doesn't work on win98 - grmpf ;-) Yeah, it is XP and above only. I can run it on Win2k, but not without Kernel wrappers. Have you already tried with KernelEx in Windows 98? For me, anyway, was a saving tool. The mega "load-to-ram" system is a nightmare. I download just a couple of

Quotesiria QuoteJohnHellThey do to the last, not to the first unread by the user not really: they link to the individual post which is clicked. That means I'm simply starting from the bottom-up to open the threads, while trying to avoid clicking the same thread multiple times. Of course, that's a bit tough with the hundreds of new postings we get here every day... Seriousl

Quoterodocop 'Newest messages' view - sends you to the last messages. They do to the last, not to the first unread by the user, what does the new text in every link in the forum except there. Quoterodocop I think modules aren't provided by Dorian but are the developments of Phorum itself. It is just PHP. It can be modded easily.

One of the reasons I don't use the new added addon/module is that you can't go directly to the first new post of the marked threads as new. @Dorian, could be done to add to the "new" text a link to that thread plus the ",gotonewpost" text so the link on "new" takes you to the first unread post? From my point of view shouldn't be hard and will enh

Maybe should be. It wasn't a problem years ago, but, now, sites get a lot of height with fixed horizontal bars, navigation menus and others. I'm even considering to remove the title bar for normal browsing. I can't, but the fact is that, now, most of the times, I browse in full screen :/ When did 768px become so tiny screen height :/ Maybe a button in a fashion "Op

Quotesiria Have you tried View>Toolbars>Menu? Then again, no, ALT alone doesn't pop it up, but the Alt-Keys work anyway (Alt+V = View menu etc.) You can "move out" of sight the toolbar, as I do and you save that toolbar height space. Just unlock the toolbars (view menu) and drag the menu toolbar to the right most possible possition near to another toolbar. Then with

QuotePerryHotter K-meleon shows no pulldown-arrows at the side of thr back and forward arrows. With this you could go several pages back or forward. Is this normal ? No hack attempt. Right click or hold left click.

Quoteguenter Quotesiria Just stumbled across this interesting link: http://www.klaus-hartnegg.de/gpo/2014-08-21_Firefox_steals_pdf.html Now wonder if it might help in such cases to set those prefs? pref("pdfjs.disabled", true); and perhaps also (whatever that does exactly, not sure...) pref("plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types", ""); Nice find. QuoteZero3K QuoteJohnHell sqlite manager adapted extension How do I copy the URLs that are in it to a new one? I think you may already found how to, but open your profile places.sqlite and go to the Database > Export All Table menu. You can create a new sqlite file then and import to it. Have in mind that this method won't fix the error. I don't think so, or would be som

Yes, the database is corrupted and I think the only way after read the other day, is to just delete it. It's curious because I edit my own places sqlite files often with sqlite manager adapted extension and it never got corrupted. I also use it to check for integrity. You should use it to check it periodically and/or also compact it. And as Dorian said, value your privacy a bit mo

What should the entirety of the text in the edited block_content.manifest file be? A blank what? The only thi

Quotesiria New version v2, tried to improve the 1-2-3 toggle and display That is what I was going to suggest (I read the first post before go to bed this night). Cycle through all prefs could seem tedious in the first macro. Now, check which one it is and what value it has and change accordingly is better. I'd only separate the menus in 3: Allow content Scripts Objects ..

QuoteMello Got it I was trying it out in km 1.6.0 where nothing shows but it's working straight off in 1.75 - thanks very much! I've been in the habit of using 1.6.0 and only recently seen and downloaded 75. I'm not worried about a toolbar button I was just trying to work out where to look for things after I saw the ico. But that can be done too!! I could explain it
