Oleksandr The following is off topic, this is irrelevant for your question. Quotesiria (But I still think the guy who invented THAT numbering system must have had some really weird stuff for breakfast :cool I don't know. In fact, in the later months, I have read some references to this when talking about standardize programing or use an on-the-fly compiling (as .NET libraries). Wha

QuoteOleksandr Hi! I'm anew K-Meleon user (just bored of frequent Firefox hangs-up) and have noticed different address bar background colors (yellow, red, white). What does it mean? I haven't found any explanations in FAQ, so I seem to be the only one who doesn't know? White (actually window background system color): normal page. Yellow: secure site. Red: broken site. Mo

Even if the feature comes with Windows 10, I don't consider something to blame of Windows 10. After read what it is WiFi Sense, "it is the same", except key sharing, as I have in my feature phone, and it isn't a Windows phone. If the user decides to let the phone check and connect to non-trusted WiFis, it is up to that user. Then, the sharing of information and use of

QuoteZero3K QuoteDorian I don't know any alternatives with web hosting. I could move the rest, but they probably won't be happy. There isn't much project left at sourceforge Proof : https://sourceforge.net/p/potm/discussion/vote/thread/bdda4271/ Please put the 75.1 Beta onto a file hosting site (such as MEGA) and link it. Thanks in advance. Dorian hasn't announced it

Quotesiria What I'm curious about: Does the embedded-objects-block still work in km75? Can find nearly nothing about it in the web, and unfortunately that sounds like it was related to some obsolete function. The pref is permissions.default.object INT 1=allowed 2=blocked 3=domain allowed Am using that all the time to block videos independant from javascript state. Didn't know th

Late, with this week and a half SourceForge downtime but: NPSWF32_13_0_0_309.7z (ESR) I hope you updated anyway with the installer because this had quite a few bugs fixed too.

I agree with chunked urls in history when they are too large, but the history shows the titles, except for "extension" files (.jpg, .gif, .rar, .7z, .zip, etc). I think we would need an image.

Don't worry, from Mozilla signed the day of its death, starting to block it when a vulnerable version hasn't fixes: http://www.theverge.com/2015/7/14/8957177/mozilla-blocks-flash-as-facebook-security-chief-calls-for-its-death We have to admit that the last release was to fix a lot of bugs, but banning Flash isn't either the solution. If I could, I'd make of flash what

Quotesiria Someone wrote setting the pref "plugins.click_to_play" to "true" would give an option "Ask to activate" for plugins, Oh, great, there it was XDD This afternoon I was thinking why it doesn't show in K-meleon but does in Firefox. Well, and other past times, but I never dig for this. Thanks for dig for us siria. You are great with these annoyance

Quotesiria QuoteJohnHellHTML5 nowadays, can't be blocked, or the flashblock that comes with K-meleon, at least with youtube, doesn't work with HTML5 video tag. But in F2 > ...> Flashblock > Whitelist is a checkbox to also "block html5 video" - does it not work? At least on YouTube doesn't. Appears the icon to play from flashblock, but the video starts to down

Quotesiria Decided to rename my HOSTS file and => BINGO! The video page shows up. Have blocked some two dozen sites in HOSTS like google-analytics, googleapis... So far looks normal. Allowed JS, blocked Flash, and the familiar Start-Icon appears. Am not going further or might overload my old pc, since KM1.6 cannot stop any stuff once it started loading. Mmmmm I also have a hosts file (

QuoteYogi QuoteJohnHell This is an entry I added years ago: https://vimeo.com Plays just fine: https://vimeo.com/132980067 It plays fine as long as Flashblock isn't active. With scripting and Flashblock enabled it won't play even with 'https://vimeo.com' added to the whitelist. At least that's the case for me (Win7/KM75). This is not a real issue for me sin

Quoterodocop Well, Flashblock really prevents videos from playing like it did for Youtube. I think we can find right css-hack like in Youtube case was done. There is no hack for Vimeo, just whitelist in flashblock. Have in mind that Vimeo, depending of the page you are viewing the video from, it will load the flash video in a kind of html5 way (actually, sometimes still uses flash but wit

Quoteguenter p.s. A way to kill my 75. Open https://msuweb.montclair.edu/~furrg/ After a change in font detection. I change to iso-8859-1. Result. Always crashes. Guess I have to reinstall. p.p.s. thx for trying rodocop. No, you don't need to reinstall. I had this behavior of crashes in the past but I haven't reported because I thought it was just me and I didn't

Quoterodocop sorry, folks, but I have one more question about docs. Is there present any documentation about new skinning system, mainly describing skin.cfg structure and syntax? [...] I understand that all new skins can share default toolbars.cfg if no own present. But I cannot fully clarify to myself - what skin.cfg does? I guess it defines default sizing for skin and... and .

I think I tested every scenario and no problem with menu checkmarks or anything else. Chanson Yu had a problem when installing new extensions, but was his fault in the end http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?8,134108#msg-134140 Removed newsfox file, no problem. Disabled newsfox, no problem. Change privacy preference from buttons, no problem with checkmarks. Change from the menu itse

I didn't translate anything of what you told, but, as you quoted me, you need to know that the bug was fixed in the oficial stable release of K-meleon 75 available in the Downloads section. The report was made for the pre-final release of 75RC3u5.

By the way, this is not a bug. Looks like you downloaded the portable version (7z) of K-meleon 75. My choice (there are other ways) would be to use the SetDefault.exe file from the 1.1.6 version (not for any reason, just I trust earlier versions of this executable) and register K-meleon 75 searching for its path. Download 1.1.6 from the Download area of this page. Use the portable 7z. Ju

2011 I would say too Test at your wish with the audio tag ;P http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_audio EDIT: Anyway, your nsv link also works, so imagine where is the bug in the page... What I still don't understand is why focus on the web play. For every station out there, if I can't play in my player, I don't waste a second of my life and here

Quoterodocop This is not a bug - it's a feature: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=643311 FF doesn't support mp3 from html5. I have to strongly disagree: http://www.onelook.com/?w=music (click over speaker icons) What the bug is telling is that the html5 player doesn't play streamed MP3. In other words, incomplete MP3 where can't be found the needed tags

A bug with downloads and related to these ask or directly save files preferences. Preferences involved: browser.download.useDownloadDir and browser.download.dir K-meleon fallbacks always to save directly to My Documents\Downloads. Doesn't happen when set asking in preference panel (useDownloadDir false or default).

Confirmed. I'll report in the 75 release thread just in case Dorian adds it in the almost sure 75.1. Have in mind too, that setting to ask, instead save directly, doesn't behave this way.
