OK, I might give it a go. I am just wondering if it requires any kind of plug-in?

OK thanks. I have Abiword, is it possible to copy the files ~ british.hash & british.hash-encoding from Abiword into the K-Meleon dictionary folder?

How about a really good UK English spell-checker? I think that K-Meleon would be just about perfect then.

When I get my other computer online I am going to run K-Meleon on Ubuntu (using WINE I should imagine).

Yeah, it's good to know that KM runs on 7. I may buy a new laptop sometime next year. Probably nearer September, so it is good to know that I can download KM onto 7.

I have recently discovered KM's adblocker (this browser keeps getting better) but sometimes ad's sneak through on some pages. I have discovered re-loading the page does the trick & hides them again. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am not going to upgrade to Win 7. It will cost me about £70 & is not a particularly easy upgrade. A lot of the programs I run on Vista probably won't run in 7. I doubt whether K-Meleon will. Anyway, it is wise to wait a year or so before using anything Microsoft that is new. I'm one of the few people in the world who actually prefers Vista to XP LOL! :O When I first downloade

I have just had a really good look at the K-Meleon folder on my computer & I can't find it in either of the extensions folders. My guess is that it is some form of cross-over from Firefox or SeaMonkey. In fact I logged into a site with K-Meleon yesterday & it seemed to know my password. I may be wrong about this but I don't remember putting that particular password into K-Meleon

I am not sure what happened. This was the user-string I used: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Maybe there is something wrong with the spoofed string. It would let me into YAHOO! All NEW MAIL & I could send/receive mail & even attachments but every time I sent mail to someone who was already in 'CONTACTS' then it kep

I'm using K-Meleon 1.5.3 & had exactly the same problem. In fact I had only recently changed to the 'all singing & all dancing' New Yahoo! Mail because it didn't work well in Opera 9#. I tried the 'string spoofer' as well & spoofed the latest Firefox release. I discovered that every time I sent an email it kept trying to add the address to the address

Has anyone upgraded from Vista to 7? I am not sure if 7 supports K-Meleon anyway. I have no immediate plans to upgrade any day soon as, unlike a totally clean install, I think it will take some time. Apparently you will have to uninstall your AV, certain anti-malware apps, apps like Open Office, Abiword, QuickTime, iTunes & others before upgrading. There is also a Windows downloading tool to

Quotesiria One of the very first things to learn with KM, is to create a working backup copy of the program folder (and the profile folder, if it's elsewhere) Are there usually any problems associated with updating K-Meleon then?

When K-Meleon upgrades/updates does it have a 'check for updates' pop-up like SeaMonkey 2.0 or do you have to go to the Homepage & download the upgrade from there? If so, is it wise to uninstall the present version & install the new or can you install the new version over the top of the old version? Thanks, Dave.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium & K-Meleon 1.5.3. with Phoenity (large) skin with the Vista native blue background. It is the very first button on the left side of the tab/personal bookmark toolbar right underneath the 'go back' arrow which is directly underneath the 'File' button on the menu bar. The button to the right of it is a blue arrow (pointing downw

I had made some bookmarks of BBC sites, primarily the BBC Homepage & BBC radio 7's homepage. I have these in a folder called 'BBC'. I was trying to add the Radio 2 website to the folder & now the BBC favicons have changed to the 'BBC Radio 2' '2' favicon logo instead of the black BBC logo/favicon. What's happened here?

I have been using K-Meleon for about 3 days now & I am just getting used to the tabs which are a little different to what I am used to. I have noticed that the button on the extreme left of the tab bar changes sometimes. Normally I just clicked on it to get a drop-down list of what tabs I had. Sometimes this changes to buttons often with favicons on them. Sometimes if I make a new tab it does

My favourite film for a long time was a choice between 'Star Wars' & 'Chinatown'. It's difficult to make a choice I suppose. You could ask which film that you have already seen could you stand to watch again? I watched 'Ice Cold In Alex' again for the zillionth time. I have seen it many times since I was about seven. It's still a decent film though &

I set my Yahoo mail site up as the default for the 'Read Mail' button. I have found that although it works relatively well it insists on asking me to add a contact I already have to 'contacts'. Has anyone else noticed this? :s EDIT: I have fixed the problem. I had changed the user string to custom (Firefox 3.5.3) so I could access 'The All New' Yahoo mail.
