Perhaps it should be mentioned yet, if the backspace key throws you back, you can usually click "Forward" to return to your half-finished post. At least that's how it works in my forums, but am not sure about facebook and those other sites with that bug. Am not a member there and cannot test, my forums are of the normal kind ;-) PS: The latest development version currently is

696. RockMelt
Any thoughts on the new browser 'RockMelt'? Uses Chromium software and is specifically for Facebook users only. 500 million potential users is a good start but what about people who don't have Facebook accounts?

I don't know whether this is a bug. But it's only doesn't work when i tried typing in Facebook news Feed (works fine while commenting and others). It works fine if i start typing only while the page still loading. After the page finished loading, and what i type will result as finding link (on the action bar). Instead of showing the word i'm typing on the update box, it

Not all facebook apps work with KM. As is the case with many web designers, IE and Moz FF seem to be about the limit of FB's mentality. FB seems to have so much recurring amnesia when it comes to maintaining the membership's personally identifiable data that I personally have dumped FB altogether. The scumball's seem to have even booby-trapped my option of permanently deleting

Do you know why SeaMonkey won't work with KernelEx like FF 3.6 does and the K-Meleon update is purported to?

forever, this is not fixable by css. the uploadpanel placement is controlled by js.. the footer and few kinks are indeed css but js controls their functions. surely we can reorganise everything with css but there's no point as that will be like making something pretty but still dysfunctional, the upload panel will not anyways .. this is not like youtube or facebook misplacements that can be

Hi, there's no real need to read it yourself - it just states it was reopened, nothing else NEW. As was stated here, but not only here, before, everything there indicates this is a hotmail bug, namely bad sniffing, not being caused by any browser. From the browser's perspective, the simple and effective method to handle such site "bugs" is to present a fake UserAgent

Back to v1.5.3 - everything works OK. .......................... All of a sudden with the new development release cyrillic works fine in Favourtites menus! Still Backspace is acting like Back to P

There are some usual workarounds for KM1.5.x, like trying user agent etc. Take a look in Help>FAQ, or around here in the forum, especially for facebook... But the engine really is getting a bit old now, and not all pages can be worked-around ;-) The alpha versions still have some bugs, but if you wanna try, try the lastest version from desga: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?2,109196

Hello, I installed K-Meleon because other browsers like Firefox and Opera run very slow on my computer, and since I did, im very satisfied by it's speed and ''light'' feeling it has. But one major flaw that kills me is that in many sites that i go Facebook, Justin.tv there are bugs. For example in Justin.tv there are buttons and images missing, in Facebook when I click on

Quotedesga2 Thanks to everyone for your encouragement. Quotejmillar I use Km 1.6a4 (now pre-beta) as my main browser, and yes, even in Facebook -but don't use the backspace key to delete anything when writing on the "wall"! It will 'zap' the page away! Use cursor arrows and the delete key instead. ;-) With that minor annoyance everything works for me using KM in FB.

Quotendebord QuoteFred K-Meleon 1.7 seems possible to me. It uses Gecko 1.9.2.x. As long as Firefox 3.6 is supported, which uses Gecko 1.9.2.x, updates should be possible. Firefox 4.0, which is due to replace 3.6 in October or November, uses Gecko 2.0 which does not work together with the existing k-meleon.exe of KM 1.7. So the future of K-Meleon lies very much in the dark, as soon as Firefox
