Hm. I found this post from desga2, but there is no "LGSCROLL.DLL" on my system. I have nevertheless tried out mark307's kplugin, but that did not help. Not sure what to do now. There is no driver update for my mouse (it really is a basic model; I do not like too many buttons). The issue might be solved by Logitech's "SetPoint" software, but I am a bit reluctant

Yes, Logitech mouse. No particular driver installed; Windows is using the built-in mouclass.sys and mouhid.sys. And the voodoo goes away if I unplug the Logi mouse and use my touchpad! What the heck?! Good catch, Günter! Any idea how to fix this?

N@m3, I am not sure I understand what you are trying to tell me: The first link that you have posted is related to a different - albeit comparable - bug. That bug is apparently already solved in KM 1.6b2. The issue which I am describing here is not. And your second link is pointing to a discussion that I have mentioned already in my first post. That seems to be a different bug, too. :-?

Hey guys Since I upgraded to Win7/64bit I was not able to use mouse gestures anymore with my beloved KM 1.5.4 (see here). And also the alternative gestures.dll that I found here did not work. Now that I (almost) upgraded to KM 1.6b2 it seems that I am again able to use gestures, but I made an annoying observation: With gestures being turned on, I am losing the ability to drag selected text.

Hi there! Finally I made a new attempt to upgrade from KM 1.5.4 to 1.6b2. I knew from earlier experiments that GreaseMeleon would not work, but found "Greasify" some time ago in this post: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,68178,114212#msg-114212. I downloaded Greasify 0.7.9.5.1rc.20110122 and installed it as described on http://www.digivill.net/~joykillr/kmeleon/kmeleon

Hi there usbtopc I am using K-Meleon 1.5.4 under Win7 x64 and was very happy to learn about your release. Due to bug #1159 I had to disable mouse gestures since I moved to 64bit. However, also your gestures.dll does not work for me. With gestures enabled, I am losing the ability to click on links or submit buttons. Strangely enough, selecting a link with the mouse and then pressing "en

Hi Gordon You might want to try PhraseExpress. Not specific to K-Meleon, but rather light on resources, so you should not have trouble running it permanently in the background. I for one am using the "HotStrings" module of the fantastic ac'tivAid utility to reach a similar result. But if you do not need a bunch of add-ons to Windows, I recommend PhraseExpress. DannyD

I can confirm this issue with 1.5.4 under Win7/64bit, and it did go away when I disabled the mouse gestures, just as suggested. Oh boy, I am so happy that I accidentally came across this thread! I thought it was just me having somehow wrecked my new Windows installation...

Exactly this is what came to my mind in the meantime! Just for the records, if somebody ever tries to solve the same problem: $sVarName = "THE_NAME"; $iVarStart = index($URL, $sVarName); $sVarContent = substr($URL , $iVarStart + length($sVarName) +1); $iNextVarStart = index($sVarContent, "&"); if ($iNextVarStart > -1) { $sVarContent = substr($sVarContent,

No, unfortunately the length of the value varies, and so does the position of the variable in the URL string.

Hello K-Meleon macro developers, I have got one question that you can probably answer in a minute, but I am unable to find the solution anywhere in the documentation or this forum. What I want to do is to call a new URL, based on text that the user has selected on the current page plus the content of one variable that is part of the current page's URL. (FYI: I need this to substitut

@ nisim, not sure if it exceeds the capacity of your computer, but I've had good experiences with IETester. BrowserCam is certainly nicer and supports virtually everything, but isn't free.

Greetings, I wanted the browser to open a URL in a new tab whenever I insert it with ALT+ENTER into the location bar. (And whenever I just press just ENTER, I want the URL to be loaded into the current tab - or whatever is configured in "kmeleon.general.openurl"). This is what I am used to from FF and IE. I first tried the following entry in "accel.cfg": ALT VK_RETURN =

Hello, desga2! Quotedesga2 2) With a macro you can't clone tabs in background, only tab in foreground. (This needed toolbar plugin implementation to mouse behavior in tab bar and created a new macro function to know what tab was clicked) Hm, I observed otherwise: _CloneTab_BuildMenu{} as proposed by JamesD does work on tabs in the background. Quotedesga2 3) QuoteDannyD Attention, you

@ desga2: Thank you for the correction, but I'm afraid I still have to disappoint you - this is not working. As far as I can see, the setting "kmeleon.tabs.OnMiddleClick" always has got the precedence. And that would be a bug, wouldn't it? Attention, you might be fooled if you have "kmeleon.tabs.OnMiddleClick=1" and "kmeleon.display.newWindowOpenAs=2" c
