I was having this problem with SeaMonkey and switched to K-meleon hoping it would go away, but it occasionally happens in K-meleon as well, details here. Thanks for any help!!!

Okay thanks - but now Ctrl-* doesn't seem to be doing anything - it did work previously - Alt-* does bring up the dictionaries folder and there is a .dic file there - any idea what I changed and how to get it working again?

Awesome - searchbar.dll still opens in the main window, but I can live with that, the google search from the URL bar works just fine. Thank you!!!!

There is one feature of both Opera, and SeaMonkey (and maybe Firefox) that I haven't figured out how to do with K-Meleon, but maybe it is possible ... With SeaMonkey - I can type something in the search bar and have the Google search open in a new TAB (Layer) - Is there any way to do this in K-Meleon? (In K-meleon, it opens in the currrent tab. (I realize I can Ctrl-T and then Ctrl-G, b
