One that comes to mind: the scroll bar reacts erratically. l'l click it once and it will drop down 2 pages. Sometimes, not always. On some pages the "Page Up" and "Page Down" buttons work incorrectly or not at all. I had (have) no similar problems with 1.1.3 and 1.1.6 I had hopes that the implementation of real tabs would cut down on resource use, but, at least on my co

I do banking online (checking accounts with 3 banks). I recently upgraded K-meleon fron 1.1.3 to 1.5 . Finding 1.5 "not ready for prime time" (minor irritating bugs), I uninstalled 1.5 and installed 1.1.6 . Now I cannot seem to log in to 2 of my banks. I can do so sucessfully with Maxthon (IE shell browser). I've tried a few different user agents with no help. Is there a setting th

Tried disrupted's suggestions. No effect. Went back to file types to find HTTP and HTTPS listed (they weren't before). Removed all references to Maxthon. Links now open in K-Meleon. At first every link opened a new window, but I found the setting in Preferences that fixed that. I really like 1.5, but it seems to have a steeper learning curve than previous versions.

I'm afraid that registry cleaners got me into this mess in the first place. I solved this problem in my previous version of Kmeleon by setting Maxthon2 as the default browser then uninstalling Maxthon. No good this time. Under "file types" in Widows Explorer. URL:HTTP and URL:HTTPS are not listed at all. I created two new "extensions" and associated them with URL:HTTP an

I've done searches on this and tried everything suggested (including the instructions on the troubleshooting page) - but I cannot get Kmeleon 1.5 to act as the default browser. I also have Seamonkey and Firefox 3, also gecko-based browsers. Could a conflict exist? Any other suggestions? I had some problem with 1.1.2, but managed to get it to work.

So, forgive me if this has been answered. What is the latest version of Kmeleon to run on 98SE? I have XP on my primary machine, and am an enthusiastic user of KM, but own a copy of 98SE and am considering installing it on an older computer. I have saved installation files of KM dating back to 0.9 (maybe farther back on my old laptop).

Thanks to both, but...both solutions seem to require activation of the Session Saver Plugin, which is incompatable with layers, which I use. Does anyone know where the default configuaration for Ctrl+Alt+Z for Undo Last Closed is found? Clicking the button in the File menu works.

I'd like to create a shortcut for "Undo Last Closed" from the File menu. I realize that Ctrl+Alt+Z has already been assigned, but I am using that shortcut to open a document. I cannot find any reference to Undo Last Closed in the default config, and all of my efforts have gone for naught. I am using Kmeleon 1.1 . Would it be possible to create a toolbar button for this feature?

I have just installed 1.1 and have entered my configuration changes that I've used successfully in past versions. One, however, won't "take" - I'd like to change the "search" shortcut (CTRL-G) to F2. I entered the change into Edit>Configuration>Accelerators. Now, F2 will open the "search" box, but will not do a search directly from the url bar li
