QuoteDorian QuoteJohnHell I repost this issue again as I reported in beta 3 and I found today that still wasn't fixed in RC. The behavior is the same and no errors at all in console window. If you use digital certificates, even if you don't have a valid one for this site, you can test the window here as it is enough to display the window to have one personal digital certificate.

Actually you can go further and avoid the use of that CSS code to any page by replacing that line with this code: @-moz-document domain(dailymotion.com){ img{filter: none!important} } So now it only applies to the img elements with class that contains "blur" text and it is only in a page in dailymotion second level domain. Aditionally, for those interested in a blur effe

Quoteguenter Yes. I also think it does not work properly. Is it only the interface? But how can we test? No, the warnings, the prefs themselfs do nothing. I'm not saying they do nothing, but the warning aren't shown. How to test, going to ssl enabled sites. For example, DeviantArt, is one that matches the broken site warning with mixed encrypted and unencrypted content and the

Quoteadodupan JohnHell, JamesD, open any 1.8 build, open folder defaults\pref or defaults\preferences, then just paste file security-prefs.js to your km. After that i expect your help. I think it is useless. They don't trigger when they should. What does those preferences is to default a value so the options can be available, but nothing else. That's why I have those prefs I e

Quoteguenter p.s. Solved. It is the exe. Last known good: kmeleon.1.8.0.build.20 I copied named exe to RC folder and it works. Was the third item I tried. Download here http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?2,126206 Can someone get the exe or has it on PC and can verify that it works. And maybe test with other test GRE and flash on that test page. Yes, the 1.8.0 build 20 exe fixes i

QuoteJamesD @ JohnHell I used the link you provided and the dropdown menu on the right fails to function. I picked "green" but got no change in color. Exactly. But if you select an option with the keyboard, after you already expanded the drop down menu with the mouse, and press enter, works. In other words, something is blocking the mouse in K-meleon and flash objects for th

Another issue related to flash and K-meleon, not happening in Firefox or others. Initially I thought it was a YouTube player fault, but when happened today in another site... The thing is that drop down menus in flash objects doesn't work. When you clic on an item of the drop down list, the drop down disappears without selecting, or making effective, the selected option. At the top

The filter support is buggy even in Firefox 31, so not a K-meleon improvement but a fix of the unfixed by mozilla. Set the filter to none: img{filter: none!important}

Another issue with update 2. I have set CTRL RButton to open in background window (a macro to open in background with some cleaning to link). It does open in background window, but also brings the context menu. This issue, as the homepage issue I talked in the last page (and no one confirmed yet), comes from the k-meleon.exe file. Once you use the update 1 exe, works correctly. EDIT

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say. I'm using in this Windows 7 video the b) option explained above. A "correct" install: https://www.mediafire.com/?a8fa4ha38ddi2f5 First I deleted any Profile by deleting the profiles folder, second I start K-meleon, I change the preferences, I reopen K-meleon to show the result. Sorry if the video looks long. Try to r

As it's been said that Add-ons are working (I haven't tested them because I know I will screw K-meleon installation) there is a complete extension for Firefox that you (or any capable) can try to adapt, Siria. The extension is QuickJava, even its name, has all the capabilities of privacy in K-meleon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quickjava/ What I didn't che

I've found that the Profile Manager window delays a little (a second, a couple of seconds) for no apparent reason in a random way. Sometimes opens instantly and others delay. Confirm if you can.

QuoteZero3K Here's a screenshot of the "Icons in the Open/Save As dialog box being randomly changed to blank ones" issue: ... That happens to me in Windows 2000 because I need a wrapper for Shell32.dll, but in Firefox, not in K-meleon 74. Happening to you in Windows 7 with K-meleon 74 is rather strange. It could explain the neogaf icon issue too, because if I'm

Guenter, seriously, from the first day I read that user was clear it was a spambot. If you read carefully the texts it writes, are partially legible because it takes portions from here and there to answer creating a nonsense explanations what makes unclear and bad "explanations" for newcomers, mixing results in the forum search and in external search engines, and, additionally, adds

But it's not their fault. Look, this is the icon in a filmstrip format extracted with GifMovieGear (icon creator and animator program that I use "a little"): And I won't make more detail about it, but each icon in the ICL (icon library) is in 24 bit format (even using less than 256 color each) plus alpha. If us (we, only Dorian and me had replied) haven't pro

For me, hiding the title bar only covers the full screen if I have KM maximized. I am using 74 RC on Win 7. Also I don't understand the "always on top". If I click on w

Should be considered as a bug, I think. If you hide the title bar the K-meleon windows are set to be always on top and almost as full screen (no actually but covers all the screen), that's why the task bar dissapears. Also, should be included in the preferences window>gui section, the option to hide the title bar and not going through the process of edit/add a preference. I think

Just placing the dll I provide, or even using a backup of a previous version installation. I am glad that you cleared up the placement in 74. I did not know that plugins had moved to browser. Thank
