I've never tried seamonkey as thats a multi-fuction browser that wouldn't interest me. Opera 10 is quite impressive if like me you use sites that are heavily written in JS, such as Facebook. I've just tried the new portable version of FF RC3 and must say I'm impressed with its speed. However despite all of this I'm always drawn back to K-Meleon Its just a dammed good

Found it I didn't realise the thread title had changed ( I know you mentioned you probably would!). As much as I hate having to do it I'm gonna have to reformat the HD. I can't figure out who it is but, some site or other is putting some well hidden trojans on my comp. I've eliminated the obvious (porm ) by deleting them. I spend hour's going through the reg eliminatin

I think desga2 means instead of a 'ring' around the word, could you make it the gecko's tongue around the world. And yes he was asking for you to make the gecko's 'head' to the left.

QuoteCryptiK Quotendebord ...much more customizable than ever before. (And the proof is in the pudding... the new, all-inclusive website site for km addons.) Ok call me ignorant, but, where would this site be? I think it's still being fined tuned but it's coming http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,94027

LOL I'm English I live in Bournemouth which is on the south coast of England and I really have a life thats content and happy. I go on the 'net as and when I want to where ever I can. I walk in the streets without looking over my shoulders. I could go to Londons Hyde Park corner and defame the monarchy, goverment and British institutions without fear of arrest. I'm too busy enjo

But FB know me as a 22year old female called John who lives in Glasgow! They only know what you tell them! Obviously my real life friends who also use FB know better. What I would hope happens re K-Meleon is 1, FB recognises KM in it's own right. 2, Potential KM users would not be lost because 'KM is crap it doesn't work properly on my FB account' As I've said

QuotePaul There is a KM 'group' on FB. I think it currently has 23 members  If all KM/FB users where to join this small group perhaps FB would sit up and take notice! So to borrow a quote from desga2: " No surrender, no retreat", lets all join and fight the good fight. Actions speak louder than (sarcastic) words.

Quoteguenter Perhaps disrupted's UserAgentBadeSitelister should be made default. That would tell users right away who is responsible for the fault and help them at the same time. And offering such an extension as download or better default. May get noticed among netizens and eventually from the buggy pages devs. & K-Meleon users become a sizable group, 1 mio donloads in one

Quotendebord QuotePaul OK my turn to get flamed! Is there a way to Set the UserAgentString to Firefox as default on future editions. (This would resolve the tedious FB question on new KM users/fresh installs) Paul, I, like many others, use the FF user agent string because it is convenient, but I wouldn't like to see it made the default, as that would diminish K-Meleon whi

Thanks for the tip reeko, will give that a try this weekend. I'm going to reformat though there seems to be some registry problems on my setup now. I'm having a lot of start problems. That's a drawback of using p2p software you can't always be sure of exactly what is in the exe.files!

Ahh, I understand now the reasons not to. So I'm afraid it's the small fish in the big pool. Their attitude is change browser, as a protest (in terms of email service) I'd rather change provider. I guess the same attitude prevails with FB, it's a case of put up or shut up. I've tried reporting the bug with FB they simply reply saying thank you, but they forget to
