No extension needed. Just right-click on the Go-Button (green arrow, but depending on skin). Tips: Or if you highlight some text on a page and then click on the button it takes it as an adress too. General important for KM: right-click everywhere, there may (or not) appear something ;-) Every button can possibly have a menu on right-click, which is not intuitive since other programs mark t

Not necessarily a spreadsheet for calculating or automatic nonsense, rather a slightly advanced text proggie with tables and styles. Anyway, thanks for trying :-)

Interesting, that you have a prob with a stubborn toolbar too. On my box it was with KM74.0 and one of my own macro toolbars, but I thought it has something to do with the quirky code (one of my very first oldest macros). Or with the name, that ends with "... buttons1". Experimented a bit with and without numbers etc and renaming also other macro toolbars, back and forth, even manage

Frankly I don't care how it works, as long as it works ;-) But just stumbled accidentally in 74.0 about this pref, sounds like it could have something to do with icons too, but no idea? Be default it seems true. browser.chrome.site_icons

BTW, I've never found a handy *tiny* tool yet with tables for 98se, still looking. There are free office packets out there which are quite good, but too mighty for my very basic tasks and taste even if only taking the calc part. The closest is still my prehistoric MS word6, that once came on diskettes, which would be perfect for text and tables, except that it can only handle dos-filenames

Quote4td8swhat kind of CPU & RAM chips that Vista computer is using, siria? The prob is denied permissions, not performance. Yes of course it gets better when surfing with admin rights, but that makes a machine much more vulnerable too (was extremely lucky so far with win98, but using KM with JS blocked and other stuff seems to help a lot). But lets not get too offtopic in this thread.

We have something in common, I too LOVE tiny apps And I like too that it's now in the first post, that makes it a lot easier for later readers www.snapfiles.com/downloadfind.php?action=s&ref=2&st=chm

Tried to find that caps stuff again. Looks like they only restored what the corporate admins needed most, the caps for local file links, but no other CAPs That's all over the web in the release announcements for ESR31: QuoteRemoval of the CAPS infrastructure for specifying site-specific permissions (via capability.policy.* preferences). Most notably, attempts to use this functionality t

GRRR.... Vista is driving me CRAZY, even offline!! That thing has been buried for a few years now, only dug it up again for testing a bit KM74. And now after much struggling again with the most basic system stuff and cursing on that nervewrecking machine, I find it doesn't even let me open the win explorer from the KM config menu, not even the profile folder! In the admin-account it works,

I meant the version number in the file name, which you did already. In the header it's useful. KM1.7 is different from 74g31 in that live-toggles do work, but if JS+P are blocked it still needs manual toggling before executing the macro. 74g31 needs JS+Popups already enabled before loading the page. The readme I leave to you, and of course I'm also clicking next-next-next when

I've read about it a few weeks ago, guess it was about version30, long bug reports, but Mozilla got so much heat from corporate admins that they finally announced to restore those functions. My impression had been it would work again in 31? Now I'm slightly shocked... Are they just late or what?

When someone posts in perfect english and obviously expects an english answer there is no reason to assume he doesn't know the most basic words like "current". And are you sure he's using a swedish K-Meleon 74 translation?? What does it help him to know the name of a checkbox in his own language when the browser GUI displays it in another? And most likely english anyway?

Why? The scandinavians speak better english than us both together, because they can learn it by watching english TV only with subtitles

Envy you if you only needed 10min to figure out that new insidious trap. Yesterday it made me go crazy for two hours, because it was just way too outlandish to think around that corner. Just when you think that JS stuff couldn't get any worse - Mozilla always can! PS: the forum link in the header gets now a "9 " :-)

Es geschehen noch Zeichen und Wunder - THANX Was starting to get real bothersome with the mass of files to be exchanged ;-) That would have suprised me if it worked in 74g31 without toggling, because in my tests yesterday it had come up with a real evil new bug, that JS-toggles after page load are simply ignored! But most important is that KM74.0 works fine (and for a few people 1.6+7)

It's v7  ;-) Hmm, not sure what happened. Have only played with macrolanguage, and I see you only modified the javascript again now. But as far as that code is concerned I didn't touch a thing, didn't even waste time studying it, cause I wouldn't understand it anyway. Only removed some whitespace tabulators inside, which have no function anyway, and when the forum com

Uff... Of course I was just done with v4 Okay, hope I caught the differences, but a quick test in KM1.6 still works NICE There is just always some harmless little complaint at the end of the page, but that was before too. Thanks for letting me play with it. If a macro works and someone else does the nerve-wrecking JS it's just fun EDIT: Oops - had the old version first, replaced it

QuoteYou want easy to use and are thinking about telling an user to change a hardcoded value to avoid import? Not normal users, only those who want to inspect or play with the js-code. And those sure are able to switch it in the kmm Just trying to cover the different wishes and possibilities. The macro can be shipped incl. the js-files, and read them by default. But if a user loses them so

Just a tiny suggestion: Renaming all default macros to "default_xxx" to make them easier recognizable in a file manager among the user-macros.

The one giant and unsolvable prob with injectJS ever since KM1.6 and especially 1.7 is for me that macro lines are executed out of-order if any JS is used. For example a macro toggles some pref, injects a script, then toggles it back. Doesn't work. The pref is already toggled back before the script even starts Am not quite sure anymore if I remember everything correctly with so many vers

YES it works again! What a difference a single character can make sometimes. We both just want things to be cleanly organised How about a compromise for the mind health of both, the developer and the user? Lets say we have the macro first try to read a js-file, for testing and understanding the code, and only if that's not found it uses the fallback code inside the kmm, for which

QuotetimochUnder the help, welcom to K-Meleon comes up. Oddly enough, when I opened another tab to re-read your reply, the page came up blank black. When I right clicked on the middle of the blank page, the km page at sourceforge came up. Go figure. Now that is interesting. The welcome page apparently was still active in the background? Perhaps Dorian can figure it out, can remember in the p

Of course I have far less clue than you about JS (near zero), but are you sure it would make the code worse if you just copy over the three hndl-docs-lines from main.kmm into this macro and merely insert more brackets? But guess what?? Now it doesn't work anymore in KM1.6!" I half expected it... sigh, JS stays a nightmare since the gecko in KM1.6 And in KM1.7 both versions don

I'm starting to see why you think menus were complicated Guess it would work, but anyway, simplified it: _DocInfoMore_BuildMenu{ $_menu="Images + Background"; setmenu($_menu,macro,"IMG Images",lst_option_img); setmenu($_menu,macro,"CSS images",lst_option_css); setmenu($_menu,macro,"ALL Images",lst_option_complete); # # In "View" an

Glad you're doing the really complicated part QuoteJohnHellThe second is because of how the JS_hndlDocs/hndlDocs work. Can't do anything there. But that I still don't understand. Of course you can do it different, if you know a better code for this case. Why insist in using hndlDocs instead of just merging the definition and execution together, like a bookmarklet just multi-l

There is an overall setting, but guess it's switched on by default, so can't really be the culprit? Anyway, it's in F2>Privacy "Remember Login Data" And in F2>K-Meleon Plugins: Login-Manager
