QuoteJujuLand When launching setdefault (during install, or after), some keys which are about exts aren't updated: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\<.ext>\UserChoice Curiously, when running it under real admin, set aren't set too, but it works. Maybe these are set up in HKLM\... while under admin? (Sorry I can't test it cause I don&

General recommendation. Using virustotal, look at three vendor's results: if DrWeb, Kaspersky and VBA32 indicate 'clean' - it's always clean. Doesn't matter what others say :-)

I have some occasional problems too but not with copypaste. Seems like it's dark side of the KMoon beta status... Hard to explain rationally :-)

Para mi todo trabaja como lo esperado. ¿Probablemente vale la pena intentarlo la version nueva? Mira a la mi firma y descarga una montaje allí. ¡lo siento para mi español! He estudiado la lingua castellana en la escuela muchos años atras. :-)

Quoteguenter K-Meleon vitally needs the shift to a newer GRE. That can be only done by a c++ coder that has time. Нow much working time would it require - how do you estimate this, guenter? Is it one-time or continuous task?

It's a kind of devilry: the same builds on the other PCs work properly with no issues.

Some annoying bug appears suddenly in my KMs: yesterday they start to refuse when sending comaparatively long messages on different forums and boards. Even here I receive Error 503 and "Guru Meditation XID: SOMENUMBERSHERE" message Using dugbug's 1.6 and 1.7 from signature but earlier no such problem was seen in the same browsers. In comparison, Wyzo 3.6.4 has the same

But it's vitably needed to improve usability side of K-Meleon. KM needs such things as visually customised toolbars (where you can arrange not only bars but the buttons too by the mouse not by config files), consistent toolbar standard (making possible to change skin without need to rearrange toolbars), more convenient extensions manager and session manager - and so on. But it all can

We have much to say about KM but we are silent. We have the fully outdated version as main offer named 'last stable release' We have ugly-looking official site which seems to be addressed to 'linux geeks of XX century' not modern consumer, addicted to rainbow-allmoving-flashed or just modern and stylish looking pages. Is this the way to popularity? You know the answer.

But I can plan product development, so what can be done in our case? My answer is below: Some time ago the situation was comparatively fine - KM grew up and Mozilla was a friend. Now all have changed in unpleasant way. But as I see, main reason of stagnation isn't in Mozilla's decision. It lies in the area of K-Meleon's popularity and penetration. 1) FF still is an open

OK, let's look wider. Yes, KM seems to be half-dead. Not the product but the community. "Half-' - as there is at least some minor development and, more important, some new passion from community members. That is not enough, sure. We lack of developers - you are right. And I'm not the one too, so I can't move KM forward in this way.

And the second option I heavily promote to fight scripts is to use dugbug's KM builds from my signature (db+) where you can simply choose one of 4 restrictive settings from Tools menu (just 2 clicks away) and enjoy script-bloating-free browsing. While the simplicity and speed of use are the advantages of this solution the downside is that you apply script-blocking totally - for all tabs,

I had some experience playing with Policies Manager recently. And it's partly reflected in that thread So what I can advice you: Install the extension right-click somewhere on any page (at free room not on link) and choose 'APolicies Manager' from context menu the window appears - press 'Manage policies' select 'Global policy' and press 'Edit poli
