Might have been what siria tells in the macro file: # (By default only runs on "www.google.com/search?....", but optional many more sites can be added, see below)" To avoid the restriction for country TLDs (.es, .de., .fr, etc), maybe changing the line 63 from: if (index($URL,"https://www.google.com/search?" == 0) $_do=true; to (for K-meleon 1.5 and above):

Quotecpm1a_new on WinXP SP3 in both out-of-the-box and clean 76.2 and 76.2.1 i only have: "Links meant to open a new window" "URLs passed from external applications" no middle option "In a new tab" for me. No middle option at all or disabled? Note that that option is only enabled if you have Tabbed Browsing enabled (which I don't (I'm one of those

QuoteRJJIII And regarding the human power, maybe we're on the same page. Sorry, the language barrier again :-? what did you mean there with "maybe we're on the same page"?, as Seamonkey and PaleMoon status? QuoteRJJIII I don't think the small teams can make progress at the rate the web is changing. No one can since the living standard exists. I didn't boo

QuoteRJJIII Lol, as one of those 15 weirdos I'll explain my personal reason. I saw K-Meleon as an open-source project that I would like to contribute to. Initially I guess I imagined myself submitting patches. In GitHub to submit a patch you "fork" the project and then submit your changes as a "pull request" from your personal fork. So then what happened is that I started

Yes, forgive me. I was thinking on a fork taking as a base the latest at SourceForge (the 76 RC2-whatever it ended). But I guess your already forked branch could be used too as a starting point as well. As I'm not a programmer I don't know if it would make a difference if you focused on Goanna or is still compatible with Gecko or whatever. That is totally beyond my knowledge, w

QuoteWasiFH And what about github? aren't any free lancer developer there? Probably it is a better hub, a more popular development hub than it is now SourceForge. Lots of programmers flew away long ago for reasons I can't recall that happened when SourceForge management was updated by some company or... I'm not sure. But this was free, and Dorian ketp here, or something similar

This is my pessimistic opinion. So take it with a grain of salt. You have my moral support (and/or forum administration, as long as this forum is used for the project, as it is all the powers I have; and as long as I'm around here) but is not an endeavour I would take part in. Specially with money, which I don't have to spare But all my support to all who jump in the boat if this

QuoteRJJIII I got some random errors including 403 for these forums even though the main site works just fine SourceForge "doesn't like" Internet Explorer, nor Windows 9x user agents. Remove them from the user agent and you should be able to visit these forums.

QuoteJ.G. Please sorry my friends, I am very glad to meet you again. My eyes are with low health and I can not read as before. Take care. QuoteJ.G. For @sandra, for those sites where KMG does not work properly just give it a try to FF 78.9.0 ESR, that is available at this site: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.9.0esr/win32/ (You only seek for your language). Technical cookies are always used, regardless of your GDRP cookie permissions. Anyway, you can manage cookies (deleting the consent cookie to let the site ask again) from the preference panel (F2 key by default). In the other hand, most of the error log can, mostly, be ignored, as it is CSS. The culprit might be on the two latest, that are JavaScript errors. Probably the Goanna engine us

Sorry if you felt forgotten. The best you can do is report on K-meleon Goanna thread and if the latest build, that has the latest engine update by roytam, still doesn't work, there is no hope. Have in mind that K-meleon, uses an "old" engine (at the rate of engines versioning out there) and have these "flaws" (not the browser shell, but the engine), specially with s

Thanks roytam, I can tell that it works, for a couple of problematic pages I had on mind, on 75.0. Hope this helps to some users too. Maybe I open a dedicated thread as an announcement. Or add news on front page.

Ok, it was just a split second, but I have the solution and I found the glitch... on Google (I mean it is on Google, not searching on Google): have at least 3 preferred languages set and you'll fix it or have 2 languages (by default are en and en-US (browser UI dependant, I guess)) but one of them being anything else than en or en-XX (EDIT: I had to confirm on Firefox, because

I didn't check on NewMoon, but on roytam's NewMoon, despite the accept-language HTTP header is sent and set to another preferred language, Google ignores it Definitely, Google is dumb. The only difference I see is that the connection is with HTTP/2 instead HTTP/1.1 of my K-meleon version. And yes, it happens to lot of users. It is not the first time I read it on Spanish forums

Quoteclutterless I performed a Google search and the suggested solution is to change your Google account language preferences. I don't think this solution would work for me because I don't save cookies, browser history, etc. And still, could work. That is not important. Google first checks your IP against their own IP databases (which isn't accurate at all, but depends

@sandra You have a couple of threads here talking about alternatives, at Off-Topic forum: Netscape Navigator derivatives Pale Moon for XP (and alternatives) But there is not a real recommendation because... Quotesandra My system is rather old ...you nailed it there. If you can upgrade your system amount of RAM, that might be what is, mostly, slowing your system, just do it.

Remember to use the latest K-meleon on Goanna build as it has the latest engine updates. If still doesn't work, I know this is not the most user friendly way, nor what you would like to hear, but if you look at the page source code you'll see a lot of strings like: "hd":"https://stream.rcs.revma.com/wknqhm4yuchvv" Search the one is your preferred radio and just

Cool Now would be interesting to know how it happened, as, as far as I know, there isn't a GUI switch to toggle it :-? or I may be wrong too. Was the Gecko K-meleon or the roytam's Goanna K-meleon for Windows 2000? Maybe he set to disabled (and I'm now lazy and tired to check by myself )

Read the FAQ here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/FAQ#Plugins There are specific setting for each plugin, so I doubt you disabled them all. Check the preferences (at about:config) filtered by "plugin." (without quotes). If you don't find them disabled, nor "globally", might be your system (maybe banned by the antivirus software). In any case, you could copy t

I feel that you are right here too Maybe too many links on the side would be unnecessary and overwhelming. And include back the content to the home page, wouldn't be better either. Maybe leave as it is now is just enough. Quick and simple. My concern, or my dilemma, is that the Welcome page, that after all has all the main sections, is kind of hidden to the eyes of visitors/user

QuoteJohnHell I thought that could be done a real sitemap to know what page belongs to what section/page, instead the Welcome page as it is now. But now is just an idea over my head and I don't find good approaches to do it right, anyway. After fiddle here and there, it doesn't worth the effort. The wiki doesn't track correctly each page links nor the backlinks, so it is impossib

QuoteRJJIII Starting from KMeleonWiki, here is the macro library template and a page using the template: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/view;MacroTemplate?version=49 [...] And, yes, I could start from "Home" as it is in the sidebar. The reason I mention starting from K-Meleon or K-Meleon Wiki is to make the trails look similar to the older pages and translated pages. It's po

QuoteRJJIII 1. K-Meleon > Sidebar Link > Page What I think would be the best option is to start every trail from either K-Meleon or "K-Meleon Wiki" If going this way... why not "Home" instead/then? Would match the sidebar and wouldn't be redundant. I mean, you are already on K-meleon website, no need to repeat, so, if the hierarchy would start on the sidebar...

Quoteroytam1 (getting error message when posting whole changelog, so snapped) A forbidden word has been used. Avoid dubious links and bad behavior. Such activities are reported to your service providers. If after fix it you still have problems, report to administrators in Support thread. QuoteWasiFH The problem still exists; why greasify cann ot apply this userscript, while successfully appying all other user scripts? At that point, might be CSP (Content Security Policy) not allowing the execution of inline injected JavaScript. Try switching the pref, if you still want to dig. Should be: security.csp.enable to false Switch it just to test. For the average user is a pr

QuoteWasiFH Whatever the reason, when changing google.com to some google.co.uk OR google.cn, it applies, on plain google.com it doesnt. Might be that you load, if I understood correctly, the page on a frame? Any other way, I don't have a clue why would happening, as I don't use Greasify, but might be that, for whatever reason, it doesn't find the URL to apply it.
