I tried again a few times - still problems with gestures often not working at all when browser first started. I made a second separate install of final and it behaves in similar fashion on xp pro.

I find Final is unpredictable I opened it just now and gestures forward and back did not work on any site. Then I restarted ccfme and gestures worked fine. Likewise I have mouse gesture set to go up a directory in site, often unless I make a very pronounced movement it opens right click context menu rather than going up a directory At the moment I think RC2 works much better Mezich

Thanks got it going now. I had copied the dll's over after one initial start without them, but ccfme still wouldn't run. I had to reboot my computer to get it going. Getting it going earlier today was luck, I had rebooted the computer for another reason.

I open everything in new tabs whs so I'm not aware of this. But I do recall it happening in the past with other browsers when a link opened in current page Is this k-m specific on these forums for you? Set a mouse gesture to open links in new tab and use that for opening links on those forums I'm assuming you are at present opening links in current window, then navigating back. Already open tabs don't move their page positon.

Main problem with auto fill of forms is that scripts can trigger pw manager and transmit logins to other destinations before you have chance to verify the web page you are on. Obviously doesn't matter for everyday logins , I'm thinking more about banking etc

in terms of clicking I find a single right click to close tab the easiest. That way I don't have to be accurate and hit the X close button on the tab - anywhere on the tab will do. I just tried and could copy passwords directly over into RC1 profile It is a file with .s extension but not cookies it is txt file in 0.85 and a .sqlite file in RC1 I tried simply changing the extension on the .85 cookie.txt to .sqlite but that didn't work - lol But if you have the passes in RC1 it is very easy to get the cookies.

What happens if you copy over the bookmarks plugin from 152 to ccfme after reconfiguring? I also use favorites and the links toolbar works fine across the width of the screen on 800x600 so must be something to do with the bookmarks plugin. However the bookmarks toolbar does concertina with the correct spillover >> if used it as a partial toolbar on the same latitude as another toolbar
