Does anyone have any tips for installing these without loosing all your customizations each time?

While I've noticed KM Goanna offers more support for sites that had stopped working correctly with KM Gecko, KM Goanna isn't as snappy as KM Gecko. Is that normal? Maybe just the disadvantage of having more up to date code?

If I have KM Gecko open and then try to open KM Goanna, it won't open. That's fine, but what is going on behind the scenes, and is it possible that doing this messed up my KM Gecko? I've noticed after doing that, a page or two that used to work has problems now. Maybe coincidence. Aren't they both self-contained, portable style browsers?
