gmail is another site with custom keystrokes, which don't work on km, because they are overridden by km native shortcuts. should a website be slave to the browser, or the reverse? kko, sites lately are acting like apps. itunes and powerpoint shortcuts do different things, cuz they are different apps. i dont have a problem with that. you're right that if every site uses differ

thanks, james. i was looking for that list! disabling km native keystrokes is a handy workaround, but i use different sites that have different shortcuts. i'd have to disable ALL km shortcuts. of course not practical if i want to keep km keystrokes on other sites. would be preferable for km to automatically give priority to site-specific keystrokes when they exist.

i installed the enhanced history extension, and i don't see any new functionality in km. i'm using km 1.5.3. i don't see the feature i'm requesting in the enhanced history extension feature-list or screenshots. desga, "last hour" is not adquate-- i want to see PAGES listed in order visited.

as you said, the -new switch opens a different profile than the one already in-use. km says "the selected profile can't be loaded, it is already in-use", and then it displays the profile manager. as a work-around, i can use this method to open a separate instance, but it would require creating more profiles, and then configure each of them with my preferred settings. it woul

thanks. i did not mean separate km profiles-- i meant separate website accounts. for example, i have 2 gmail accounts, but i cannnot view both at the same time, unless i can open separate instances of km. CTRL-N (new window) does not work for that. i'll try the '-new' switch.

because this is k-meleon the bug-report thread. i mentioned that the problem does not occur in ie or firefox, not to prove that they are better browsers than km, but to indicate that the problem is not bad or corrupt web-pages. that helps narrow down the problem to the km browser.

http://msdn.microsoft.com when you start typing in the search box at the top, the menu bar obscures the dropdown.

Seems like a good idea to have a centralized place just to list URLs of pages that don't load right, in KM. (If such a thread already exists, someone please direct me there). I wish KM had a "Report This Page" on the Help menu, like Chrome.

hi i would really love to be able to open multiple instances of km, just by double-clicking the km shortcut. this would enable me to be logged into 2 different accounts, on the same website, at the same time. thanks!

CTRL-SHIFT-T to re-open recently closed tabs, in reverse order. Currently there's no quick, guaranteed way to find accidentally-closed tabs, when you don't know the domain or url. Firefox and IE have this.

It would be a great advantage to be able to view the entire history in reverse order viewed. Currently, you only offer by date, and "last hour". Most other browsers have "view history by order viewed" mode.

CTRL+N, the newline keystroke on todoist.com, is just one example of a site on which custom keyboard shortcuts are over-ridden by k-meleon. This problem does not happen with IE or Firefox.

my casual comparison of KM vs. SeaMonkey -- in terms of speed and memory, they are running neck and neck. often, SeaMonkey consumes less RAM than KM, both running several identical tabs. after closing many tabs in SM, SM RAM footprint seems to take a long time to shrink (according to task manager). after exiting SeaMonkey, it takes a long time to unload from memory (after opening, then clo

i did not say i'm getting performance degradation. my performance is great. i'm just saying i'm worried that, in future releases, km may suffer the curse of bloat which befalls some other apps (like firefox). i'm suggesting the dev team put some dev guidelines in writing, to prevent future bloat/degradation.

what is k-meleon team doing to ensure they don't Get Firefox Disease? Slower Every Version. how about a list of guidelines every new version MUST pass before release. for example: New releases CANNOT perform any action more slowly than the any prior release, including launching, exiting and unloading, and rendering pages.
