panzer : the donationcoder forum is off-line for the moment, they are changing servers (but the software pages are on-line). Also when I try to use Askapic (one of the sites you recommend here), i.e. answer a question, the error console comes up with warning errors about the css on that site. I've tried everything I know to resolve that but no luck - any ideas about what's going on ?

Quotepanzer Monsieur mhf, as promised here is my last story: http://www.2shared.com/document/fbSxs8ue/Town_in_a_desert.html (parental control is advised due to strong violence) Enjoy (if you can)! Thanks panzer, looking good : I haven't finished it yet as I'm feeling a bit worse for wear - my hair hurts (french expression). Happy New Year.

101. Re: joke
This one is probably well known but it's quite good : Dog Sends Telegram A dog goes into a post office to send a telegram. The clerk gives him the relevant form and he goes to the desk to fill it in. When he has finished he hands it back to the clerk with the fee and the clerk reads it through. The message reads " Woof woof, woof woof woof; woof woof, woof woof woof."

Thanks for the update Matera - but - I even tried with TheWorld browser (and some others) and get the same behaviour : it looks as if it's not browser-related but more something to do with my setup though I can't fathom what's going on...

Just thought I'd like to thank you panzer (and some others) for all the work you put in here to inform us of these freewares - even if it seems as though we lurk on some of the same sites !

Hi disrupted - thanks, but it's not the Hosts file either (you can temporarily disable the hosts file with HostsMan). When the mouse goes over an answer I get the famous javascript:void(0); showing in the status bar - and this with JS enabled, the site in my Policies manager allowed sites, after purging cache, flushing DNS cache etc... mystery and grain of rice... I've been trying to use this site : Free Rice and no matter whether : I add the site to Policies Manager or change useragent or press F7 or even ... gulp ... use an IE tab, the javascript that runs the "answers" (you'll see what I mean if you visit the site) just refuses to work - any ideas anyone ? Wow - looks as though I whipped up a storm at sea ! Thanks for all the information about lighthouses duffy and thanks disrupted for the really nice throbber. I've checked a bit and there doesn't seem to be any special reason why some turn clockwise and other anticlockwise (though one comment I found referred to the original clockwork mechanisms) - but this information about direcion

Don't want to be a bore - but I have a feeling (no proof) that the light in a lighthouse turns clockwise ! Apart from that I really like this throbber.

Sorry I didn't get back when I said I would - things happen - OK, so I reduced the length from 255 to 250 and the problem goes away. btw I don't have the X showing on tabs. So thanks JamesD and all - it's working fine here now and is a very useful addon.

QuoteJamesDI will wait some time for feedback and then see about putting in the MacroLibrary. Took me a while to get back here. I installed the latest and all went well until I started closing tabs which I usually do with middle-click : bang, KM closed. It didn't crash, no error messages, just disappeared. So I tried again but this time closing tabs with either close tab in the tab context

QuoteJamesD Here is some updated code. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1522294/PriorTabs.7z Putting the title before the URL seems to work. There is no check for a combined length exceeding 255. I have kept jsnj's additional menu locations. Thank you, jsnj, for that work As always, comments and suggestions are welcome. Please report any kmm items showing in your error console. Thanks J
