Unless it's configured in some other place now, like lots of other gecko24 things. My screenshot is in the 5th post on this page. It is openly visible, not just a link. My whole point is just to avoid the need of double skins for different users, since there isn't any problem at all. Glad we're finally off the 74beta thread at least. Now just look at my screenshot. Why don't you see it? The transparency WORKS. The transparent background is BLACK, not pink, and it works fine. And the text is black too. THAT is obviously why the text is transparent too: "Black" is defined as transparent in this bmp. The black-text-on-black-background is the prob.

Just made a new screenshot of AuraAlpha in KM17a2 and win98se. Note that the black background works as transparent, there is really NO magic pink needed :cool: Only prob is the missing text on the privbar. When I open the bmp in irfanview it appears only black-on-black. My system can't seem to handle gradual transparency or how that's called, only 100% or nothing. So just guessing

But I don't think it's possible to crop an icon toolbar intentionally with dropdown arrows, unless it happens automatically because 1 single toolbar is longer than screen width. Yep, as guenter posted. Which version are you using? Just today Dorian posted the new KM74beta2! Tip: if you still have a copy of your old (customized) installation, you can try to copy the files in it over to a new KM74 profile. Or if you changed the skin buttons, copy over its folder with a new name. Guess nearly everything should still work, can save some time.

The wording "Use Multi User Profiles" is completely confusing. I too, like lots of other users, would never have guessed it could mean "portable or not" - if profile folder lands inside programs folder or outside in appdata-folder, with all the entailing writing-right probs.

As others figured out, go to F2 > Page Display > Default Zoom Change it from 30% to 100%, and at least the size prob is fixed. As far as downloading goes, I'm on KM1.6 too and can download without probs by right-clicking and "Save Link Target As" But I know what you mean: When left-clicking on a 7z-link, for some funny reason KM opens 7z-files as a normal browser page i

PS: you mentioned google groups taking so long to load, that's why you need the text cache. What I'm doing myself, being on win98se, is this: 1) keep Javascript blocked 2) set the UserAgent to a fake IE7 string 3) and use the new search option from above. Result is a perfectly basic and ultrafast scriptless version of google groups My fake IE7 useragent string is Mozilla/4.

Huh? Your description isn't very clear so I'm surely reading you wrong, but you can't be really meaning to restart the whole browser after each JS toggle, right??
