siria, I solve this problem by defining my preferred text editor for source code view. It makes possible both window maximizing and word wrap when needed.

Hmmm... I see the source code in all-scrolling window already. Moreover I can set the preferred text editor to open source code in. Enough for me. What do you suggest more?

I cannot recommend this extension. I've tried this and it was very inconvenient to use setup windows like tabs.

KM 1.5.4. needs MS Visual C 7.00 (files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll) to be present in windows\system folder or in K-Meleon working folder. And I don't know does Win95 support functionality of these files or not.

Newbie, well I wouldn't blame you as you are real one described by nickname. You didn't know. There was no need to uninstall old KM as I've suggested a PORTABLE build - it can be used alongside with current installation being simply unpacked into some new folder. Well, I don't know why you have a problem with Stylish now, but I can offer you new deal : download one mo

There are no unofficial versions now ;-) 1.5.4 has very outdated engine which is not capable to handle most of modern web. 1.6 is less outdated and is the last mature version of browser, which is beta officially but most stable de-facto. Try on of the portable builds from my sig to see the difference. 1.5.4 cannot be recommended unless you are using Win98.

What is your KM version? If older than 1.6 - then upgrade and retry.

AdBlock 1.3.10 has a kplugin (adblockplus.dll) as a dependency. This one must be recompiled to be compatible with the new kmeleon.exe. When the K-Meleon folder structure would finally take it shape we'll be able to ask Wladimir Palant to create new AdBlock for K-Meleon like he did in past.

FF is fully XUL-browser that means both pages and GUI (user interface) are rendered by the engine. K-Meleon doesn't use XUL for GUI - it utilizes native Windows GUI libs. That's why KM is significantly lighter then FireFox in terms of system footprint. The reverse side of it is that KM cannot use FF extensions as they are - they need manual adaptation to work inside KM. But KM

You cannot install FF extensions directly in K-Meleon. There are old adapted version of Stylish though on the KM Extensions Central

Sorry, Kandra, I haven't it right now. It will take some time for me to create Twin-minded KM74 (the build, containing all the updates, tweaks and additions, available here right now) I think it would be done in the first weeks of new year. I want to be a good Santa and bring this at the New Year but I don't want to be a Santa Liar

I want to bring back to mind that I've created at least 3 channels for KM promotion: 1) The K-Meleon Place (everybody invited to be the co-editor!) 2) Facebook community (spread a word!) 3) Twitter account (for KM Twin but all the KM news would be posted there) So let's add the traditional software promotion ways - and people will know about great changes!

siria, you are right. And we also can add link as Dorian provided one here on site Dorian, I've opened the 'bug 1379' and 'bug 1380' record at bugtracker But it cannot be marked as bug for KM74 so we need new tag (subsection) there.

Open the 'bug 1379' and 'bug 1380' record at bugtracker But it cannot be marked as bug for KM74 so I'll duplicate the description here: Quotebookmarks.dll kplugin beginning from KM74c doesn't understand cyrillic symbols in bookmark names but DOES understand them after manual rewriting name. The kplugin version which come with KM74b (108544 bytes from 07.11.2

Kandra, the case is that official K-Meleon account exists there on Softpedia, so I think The Authors and Community should post all news from that one. So it can do only that person who had registrated this account or has corresponding permissions.

QuoteDorian I think there are still too many problems for that. Dorian, I think you underestimate your work! No one popular browser was perfect at the time of first presentation there. And what is the key to Chrome or FF popularity? Why FF takes the new approach to the development with fast cycle? The only answer is NEWS. Every little update (like those KM has here in community every we

Old fan, this thread is full of links to download updated assemblies of KM74. Download and unpack this build and then that new one with overwriting files. P.S. New version is heavily developed, so follow the thread for updates and fixes.

Thank you for big Christmas gift, Dorian! One question: may I begin to publish K-Meleon updates on some software catalogs like softpedia.com? It will be correct to publish it from K-Meleon account not from my own. Is there some K-Meleon community or developers e-mail to connect with such account? P.S. I've created thread for 'bugtracking'. So I'm going to transfer re

Well, all this is good but I don't need any other solution except my described own. And I do really recommend it to others as it's the most convenient way to work with such compressed files - look into them, modify them, update, copy, move etc.

You're right, George. So I recommend to use TC with archive plugins to have no problems with omni.ja.

My 7zip 4.65 opens omni.ja easily And the best way is to use TotalCommander with 7zip-plugin to handle archives like folders (ja and jar files need Ctrl+PageDown to get into)

Well! The group stage of Champions League is over now! In Wien Austria had smashed Zenit 4:1 - and what? Zenit goes to Champions League play-off and Austria says goodbye to eurocups! It's a soccer! Well, we're going further: Zenit goes to play-off with 6 points and Napoli had failed going only to the Europe League with 12 points! It's a soccer! What the unbelievable g

There isn't any missing pref in KM as all we'd define in many config files will be PRESENT and otherwise - MISSING We should say about WORKING or NOT WORKING prefs in relation to KM74.
