Can't you provide more info: - version of KM - type of installation (standard or portable) - may be some screenshots? At this time I don't understand your problem exactly. If your bookmarks bar is empty anytime, you can try to change KM-skin used. May be, it would solve problem. Try changing some skins and check your toolbar.
