Testing the empty pdf with Acrobat fails with this message: Adobe Reader can't open test.pdf, because the filetype isn't known or the file is damaged. When I open the pdf with an hex editor, I say the header : %!PS-Adobe-3.0%%Creator: Wine PostScript Driver.%Title: ...." The wine driver then calls cups which is the print manager of Linux. As I have no problem with cups,

Well, I haven't correctly explain the problem with path separators. To search or open a file, K-Meleon uses windows way, and it's normal For example, user profile under Windows is located under C:\... (I don't remember the path), which is, under Linux: Z:\home And it's why I created km_open, and set a linux specific mimetypes.rdf km-open adapts linux pathes to windows

Hi all, The problem I have to keep an empty pdf was already here, previously using the macro. I signaled it here there is a few month. And it's my principal problem. The curious thing is that when opening the pdf, it seems to have has the good number of pages. One thing I haven't tried is to open it in Acrobat. I remember a problem I had with posterazor, where the image was set

Hi, I tried to bypass a bug concerning 'Print in a file' function, where the pdf is created, but empty, hoping it solves it. Unfortunatelly, the problem is always here I don't know if it's a wine problem or a cups problem ... The pdf is created but empty (3 empty pages for my test), exactly the same with or without your macro ... which returns that the file doesn&

I have made another test with notepad (wine version, I suppose), and it works. I have made another test with the only windows program installed Firefox. Same problem ... So, it seems to be a wine problem ... I ought to report it, but I'm under Ubuntu 12.04 which uses Wine 1.4. I already modified it to partially upgrade to 1.6, to allows to run K-Meleon, but I have no idea to solve

Quotewin-doze or windoze Do you prefer Windaube ? Seriously, I have 63 years, and my first contact with Computers was CP/M, then Ms-DOS (ex QDOS), Windows 2.03, Windows 3.00, Workgroup, XP, W2000, NT4, XP, W7, and Linux. I think I have enough knowledge and experience to have a my opinion of Windows. It's perhaps not the reason for the other to leave Windows, but you, windows users,

I have also installed Linux to Windows users and persons who have never used a computer, and except one person all always use Linux now (Ubuntu or Xubuntu). I have installed about 35 computers and maintain a few of it for some users ... The older user is 85 years old, and the person which had never used a computer before using Ubuntu is 70 years old. So, it's really a wrong argument a

I have also installed a React'OS image with the last version, and my first tests are better than with the previous iso which was a little old ... My goal is to remove XP image, when React

QuotefoliatorLinux is something I know absolutely nothing about, but I'd be reluctant to change the OS and risk losing the use of the many Windows-only applications I depend on. Which applications ? Linux, except in professional domain, but perhaps not, has equivalent applications. A+

QuoteYogiWhat flavor of Linux will it be? Ubuntu, Debian or something else ? Presently it's Ubuntu 12.04, but it's not specific to ubuntu, I think. The program used is file-roller, the archive manager, which is probably not specific to Ubuntu or Debian. It allows to open exefiles as archives. It works nicelly, for example with K-meleon Setup, and a lot of executables. Unfortun

That's why the only solution is to leave Ms (and Android) and use Linux. A lot of builds are avalaible and the choice is large ... and each user can found what he needs ... and what can be run on an old computer ... what you choose using XP or W2000, but with aging OSes, and some security risks. A+

It's probably because the server doesn't set a filetype to the link. !try with saame extension on another server. If it works, then it should be the reason, and kmeleon won't be able to do the automatic treatment, and all the other browsers too probably. A+
