Quotevincent powell @Zero3K Try again using Preferences (F2 or Alt+E, E), GUI Appearance-Toolbars, General. This time type a new URL bar Title, and then push the clear button to return it to (none), then Close the Preferences dialog. That's what I did, and it worked. There's still some empty space left over though.

Quoterodocop you cannot disable it as it's needed to access extra tabs. You can change the minimal width of tab in Preferences->GUI Appearance->Toolbars->Tab bar->Min Button width (in mm) 1. It shows up randomly even when I can see the name of the page for each tab without any issues. Also, I use the keyboard to switch between tabs. 2. That doesn't get rid of it.

I have another bug to report. For some reason, the k-meleon.exe!PR_Now+0xfd341 thread uses a lot of CPU usage randomly (which is causing it to slow-down, etc).

Try the new beta of K-Meleon 74. Its no longer an issue since no plugin-container.exe, etc. is launched when a flash/java applet is in a webpage.

I've been noticing two crashes: 1. It crashes when it starts using 700+ MBs of RAM for a couple of minutes. 2. When it crashes and exits because of one, the plugin-container executable's process (and the FlashPlugin processes if Protected Mode is enabled) also crashes.
