If a newer version of K-Meleon does not support Windows 98, I will never use a new versions of K-Meleon.

Seamonkey 1.0.9 has been discontinued my Mozilla Organization.

The Mozilla Orgianzation may have tried to kill Seamonkey 1.1.9pre since 2/29/08 there were no updates until 3/09/2008 which is over a week later.

So Seamonkey 1.1.9pre may be killed off anytime soom.

When this happens no new versions of Seamnkey will support Windows 98.

When happen This happens seamonkey will only support 2000, XP, Windows 2003, and Vista.

I believe when this happens K-Meleon should developed independently of Seamonkey.

So K-Meleon will support Windows 98, NT, 2000, 2003, XP, and Vista.

I think that it is very difficult to continue developing
K-Meleon without the basic files contributed by the
Seamonkey team, simply because we lack the manpower in
experienced coders for such a task.
We can still hope, that the Seamonkey crew will be
pushed by the many users that still use Windows 98
to keep up the support for the old Seamonkey builds
as long as possible. I actually do not think that
they really want to lose a part of their users, especially
because Seamonkey is still not by far as widespread as
Firefox is.
Now let's see what the future brings, I have also
difficulties with the new K-Melon Gecko 1.9 model
in linux with wine, although the Seamonkey 2.0
Windows build works o.k. in Linux&Wine.
I want to keep K-Meleon going on in Linux, or else
I would have to resort to my KM18112forCD only,
which would be less risky, even if getting old and
unsupported, as it does not write anywhere on the computer,
and Javascript has a button to disable it as a rule.
