How, and what in KM blocks those annoying built in web messengers that are now in yahoo, msn hotmail, and gmails mail pages?
KM stops them from appearing on the page completely.
How can/could I get IE to do this....

not sure what you mean.. maybe you have installed some activex for those messengers..can you take a snapshot of a page in ie with those web messengers?
if you think they appear without additional plugins then you'll need to change ie useragent to kmeleon... isn't that ironic

i think its in the registry
startmenu>run>type regedit>click ok
look for and add

see if that works.. but remeber if you do that, you'll get limited features on some websites 'your browser is not supported' and there's no easy way to toggle ie's agent and besides that it's not a good idea to spoof ie as a gecko because ie isn't exactly standard compliant.

why do you care so much about ie? thought you've moved to the darkside now that you're using kmeleon.. dump ie, it's a nuisance browser.. if you're not wholly satisfied with kmeleon, then try opera or firefox.

The Only real thing I have with KM is I watch a site, and have paid for it called Dakota Wild. It's live wildlife cams, and when I click on one of the live cams ( not the ptz cam ) It's streaming isn't good. It has like this line running down it, but with IE the line isnt there, it's clearer. Use IE for Dakota and for everything else Km.

I would but it would be confusing to others in the house, and with KM I get no adware, spyware, etc..IE I do, so I want to make sure KM is the only one used. Isn't there a video or streaming plugin or something

Change user agent to FF. (tools/user agent). Try again.

FF does the same thing.

Install IE tab - Mozilla extension to view pages or links with IE engine in K-Meleon (first one is zip, the other is installer).

I Want to Keep my KM, but I NEED the live cams on Dakota to be clearer, without that line like thing in them, and I want KM as the Only browser used on the PC.

Try to contact with webmaster to ask what are the requeriments to show cameras in browser.

Or send me by mail in a zip file the web page that must show the camera (File -> Save Page As ... -> select type "Web page, Complete")

The camera shows, it's live streaming, and it has like this line that runs down it, where in IE, it doesn't do that.

I give up. The live cameras are supposed to have a lil snapshot camera icon beloew them to take pics, it's not there with KM, nor is the streaming of the camera clear. When I enable activex, and allow flash, still not there, nor is it there when I do custom agent for Mozilla.
To get one thing to work, it makes something else work that I Don't want to work, that being those stupid built in web messengers yahoo put in there mail, and I have classic mail, and ad-block does nothing to block them either.

NO, I LOVE my KM. I just wish I could get the lil camera icon to show under the cams, and the streaming of the cameras better, but NOT have those built in web messengers at the same time ( on different sites ).

I dont get why when I enable activex, and allow flash on my KM, the icon still doesn't appear, nor does the web messengers, but if I do a custom agent for mozilla, the web messengers do appear, and when I ad-block them, nothing happens.:mad:

If THB, KM, Opera and FF does not work, then there is definitely sth wrong with the site itself and not with browser. Try to contact site owner an ask him/her/it what could be done.

Don't give up yet Dana, give Desga2 a while to look at the code on the web page you sent him.

OK, I have the ie, and ie tab plugin, and they are checked under Macro. I have this website I want to open in IE only in my links bar...I only want to open this site in IE...can anyone tell me how I do that, or how I can set it so when I click on the tab in my links, it automatticly opens with IE?
This will solve all the issues if it can be done.

With IE tab extension you can do right click in link and select "Send Link to" -> IE Tab.

ok I have the site in my links to open in IE when I click on it, and it opens in IE, BUT when I go to the camera's, it wont let me right click, and "Open Link in New Window", it Will let me open under New Link, but I NEED it to let me Open Link in New Window.

This month long problem will be fixed if I can fix that one thing.
