I suppose that the plugin is created and installed for Firefox.
As you don't install K-Meleon with a setup, it doesn't put keys in registry and also doesn't declare K-Meleon as a gecko or Mozilla browser. So the plugin doesn't know K-Meleon and isn't able to work with.
The way is perhaps to install first a setup version to see if the plugin is found in plugin list (about : plugins) and if it works.
After, it will just be necessary (after installation) to add some keys.
