How do I create a close window Toolbar button?

I am using the Title bar toggle-off extension to take advantage of the added window real estate. But I need the convenience of a close-window button. Can someone please help me create a close-window bottom for the Toolbar?

Thank you.

Hi, cactus,

tell me which skin you use, and if you have a toolbar in the upper right corner (or whereever you'd like that button).

PLUS tell me your wishes what actions you want in it's context menu.
By default, I would include Minimize, ToggleMax/Restore, CloseAllWindows. You may want the ListofOpenWindows, RestartPlus (if you use that).
In theory, you can additionally have any action from any available command ... but I should have a notion of the visual structure you'd like, then ...

Then give me a day or two.

PS: If you have edited your toolbars.cfg in the past, better put it's content in here, too.

Cheers

I dimly remember there were already some solutions posted a while ago...
And around the time when I played with the fullscreen toolbars, I also created some window buttons, just for myself. I don't expect that anyone will like my dull gray win98-versions, and never posted this until now, but oh well tongue sticking out smiley

Just a copy from my toolbars.cfg:

#=======================================================
# WINDOWSIZE
#=======================================================
# Buttons are normally by default in each window titlebar, just in case the titlebar is hidden with some macro:

Window Size(16,16){
Minimize Window{
ID_MINIMIZE_WINDOW
Minimize Window
windowsize.bmp[0]
windowsize.bmp[0]
}
Toggle Window{
ID_TOGGLE_WINDOW|&Windows
Toggle Window (Maximized or Restore). Right-click for windows list.
windowsize.bmp[1]
windowsize.bmp[1]
}
Close Window{
ID_FILE_CLOSE|Close
Close Window. Right-click for more options (Exit KM etc.)
windowsize.bmp[2]
windowsize.bmp[2]
}
}

The "toggle" is to switch between "maximize" and "restore", and the Close-button has a right-click menu for "close window", "close tab", "exit K-Meleon" etc.

Thank you SoerenB and siria. It suddenly dawned on me that all I really needed was to replace the Close Window button which I had previously coded out while customizing KM for max. screen real estate.

While toying around with the code and image that siria provided, I realized that I may kind of enjoyed trying to make customizations to my choice of skin (Phoenity) and the Toolbars.cfg associations. Though it seems a bit complex, I think I may enjoy toying with it a bit as a hobby. Could someone suggest an easy reference, preferably free and online, to study how to properly make such customizations?

Thank you.

Remember you can use Alt+F4 and Ctrl+Alt+F4 to close window and close K-Meleon respectively.

You can start with the old Tutorial Skinning.
Also Alex.Tarantul wrote this K-Meleon Theme tutorial. (link translated to english with Goolge, originally is in rusian).
If you search in forum there are some threads about skins very explained.
I usually use IcoFX for create and modify icons and IrfanView to join and everything else.

Can someone move this thread to "K-Meleon Icons, Skins & Throbbers" forum?
Thanks.
