I like nitter - but found if you've scrolled down a long thread in nitter and want to reply to a tweet there, you can open the selected tweet in a new tab then click the "open in Twitter" button to reply in Twitter
Otherwise if you don't open the particular tweet in a new tab first, then clicking the "open in Twitter" button in nitter only opens the entire thread at the top in Twitter. So then you have to scroll down the thread to the tweet you want in Twitter - not always easy.
Anyhow, I decided I'd rather use Redirector for replies in Twitter, but it has to be set up in another browser (already logged into Twitter) rather than KM otherwise all nitter urls will be redirected.
So - I already have Redirector set up in Chromium for other purposes and can open a KM url in Chromium by right clicking and selecting "Send to Chromium" (For ease I shifted this from the "send Link To" submenu into the main context menu).
The patterns for Nitter to Twitter in Redirector are:
Example Url: https://nitter.net/
Include Pattern: https://nitter.net/*
Redirect To: https://twitter.com/$1
Pattern Type: Wildcard
(I don't know what those red symbols are doing in the patterns they shouldn't be there. Should read /* and /$1
Redirector for Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Edge

Sounds complicated but is very easy once set up - little things ha-ha!
I mainly use KM but also open a fair amount in Chromium (less of a resource hog than Chrome and others) so I have it open anyway.
It's handy if you require two redirect optons. You can set up Redirector in KM to open youtube in an Invidious instance or send the same link to Chromium for hooktube (invidious doesn't play back all vids)
