Hello I've been a user of K-Meleon for a while now (2+yrs) and on my home computer I've noticed a weird behavior. I have a website that I upload pictures to that is not compatible with K-Meleon so I use IE for this only. But lately when I click a link in IE on this site a sepearate K-Meleon window opens! This has prevented me from being able to use my website on IE. Any ideas?
It is probably a rare registry problem ( & i newer heard of this in this forum!)
- one common repair procedure to similar handling problems is: make IE default browser - then make k-meleon default browser again.
Else try make IE protocol handler to the type of picture stored on the page using a local file on You PC.
If not that You can try to update IE or if You have registry back-up use backup without the feature (that is first choice - but who makes backup of that often?). & Lets face it: registry does not survive forever - maybe new system install is needed soon?
Greetings
p.s. & i quite like the new feature that You have dicovered You should make a macro for us to do that on all our PC :-)
