I would be interessting to include K-meleon, linux-able version in a remastered linux version with wine to run it completely in RAM (puppy linux).

for this reason I would need a very small version.

can somebody say which k-meleon-file are not absolutely necessary to permit to run it?

Why don't use VMplayer or VirtualBox with an image of a windows (win 98se for example) to launch K-Meleon under Linux ?

You can then use the last version of K-Meleon.

I think that Oui wants to build a Live CD remaster of
the Linux Live CD distribution Puppy Linux, and wants to include
a linux-usable version of K-Meleon with a minimal size.

I have stripped the version K-Meleon-Linux-usable-1.8.1-v4
from as many files as possible, and called it K-Meleon-Linux-mini.
No mouse gestures and only containing the Phoenity skin.
Flashblock is included, but not Adblock , No Script , Aggreg8
and Active X Support.
I have uploaded to Rapidshare a zipped version containing
dll's and exe compressed with upx, and a 7z version containing
uncompressed dll's and exe.

I have added a tarball package using a different components
folder from Mozilla 1.8.1.3pre, Gecko 20070310, which seems
to be preferable in Linux/Wine, as it seems to bring much
more stability. It is not upx-compressed, Oui, but you can
try to pack it with upx yourself, or mix it with upx files
from the 7z package.
