I no have Twitter account, but similar problem was in Google translator. For me this problem has been solved by manual DirectShow filter registration in system (with regsvr32). In my case, it was L3CODECx.AX, but MP3 was necessary for google. I can assume that at you the AAC decoder can be required, but it is only a hypothesis.
I recommend will study this table (in bottom of article):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML5_audio
This table of support audio formats for WEB (pay attention to Firefox column i.e. if decoder is present at OS this format is supported). KM as FF supports DirectShow and ACM system decoders. You can look the graph of system filters to understand what isn't enough. For this can be used GraphEdit from M$:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GraphEdit .
Or for tests of support can use prehistoric versions of MPC (not modern!). I have a MPC v.6.4.00.0002 archive version from 2002 (279 KB in size). This is very simple and small media player and not have no one internal decoder (now fashionably build all players with kodecpaks inside). Similar software is the ideal ground for tests of support. Also old WMP v6.4 or mplay32 will approach (he is absent in newer OS's).
By the way, it is necessary to consult to
siria and it is possible to include this info in FAQ. It is a standard problem, but it is difficult for the decision without some technical knowledge.
