No, Adblock plus completely remove all those "stitched" ads/videos on youtube. I have been using it since a long time with my own custom filters/rules. I don't use the built-in Adblock dll, didn't spend time to understand its blocking way so I am not sure whether it will accept Adblock plus filters.

Interesting... Acc dev in 2015 it should work, except for inline ads:
http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,135175

Mind testing...?
And which of your rules block those in-video ads?

Will test as soon as I have some extra time.
Yes sure. may I post my youtube adblocking ABP rules here? because the moderator is very strict i guess about this :s

Just drop a note here about your experiences with that test, and further youtube discussions, which tend to get longer, perhaps in a separate topic. Can be a new one, or perhaps add to this one, looks related? http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?4,151904

Hi, Proposal to make YouTube videos load faster: remove unnecessary items when loading any video clip, this means that only the video window should remain visible and suggestions/comments should not be loaded! This feature can be called YouTube Video Booster, and can be turned ON/OFF. I'm waiting for you to create this feature. I think it will be very useful and efficient. Thanks!

You can do it with KMeleon Goanna 76.2.1 (and also I think with other versions too). however it's some kind of rude way: > menu, tools, privacy, disable images. Obviously you will see no images at all, anyway videos can be played just clicking over them. This is what I do in several low speed free WiFi spots to gain some speed, also I reduce video quality to 144 for music videos. Otherwise 240/360 and sometimes 480 are good values for old computers. smiling smiley

Your idea is not good because when we use the search function on YouTube we will have to press the button again to re-display the images and thus to help us find what we want faster. We will have to press tens / hundreds of times when we "switch" between the search (to display the images and find what we want Faster) and the opening of the video clip (when we hide the images).

Thanks for updating!
I keep worrying a bit about more telemetry now getting sneaked in after a tracking company bought one of the upstream browsers (not sure at moment if it was ArcticFox or Waterfox), but oh well, can't help it.

Just a little hint:
when posting, there's a checkbox available below the subject input

This avoids smilies accidentally messing up changelogs. Old bug here with dreaded ancient Phorum software.

Hi,
Version 76.2.1 (Build 20200725) does not load YouTube menius like History, Appreciated Videos, etc. (classic YouTube version). A menu appears from which I can stop the script, but if I press Stop nothing happens (it stays stuck). Thanks!

Hello everybody! How well does Kmeleon browser handle in case of hacker attacks? Does this browser have the same security as Google Chrome or any other major browser? Can I use it in banking operations? Thank you in advance!
