Problem with ed2k (eMule) links

Good nights.
I've found a problem when K-Meleon is trying to open a direct ed2k (eMule) link. When an ed2k link is clicked, it leads nowhere and there's no error message.
When clicked in K-Meleon 0'9, by default showed a K-Meleon advisory pop up asking for permission to call eMule, if said yes eMule was runned and called to add the file to the download traffic list. Something similar happened (and happens actually) with IE.
You can try whatever ed2k link you want but noone works. Here's one example link:
http://www.eliteclasica.com/disco.php?ref=19290
At the bottom of the big red box there's a yellow link saying "Descargar con Emule", this is the ed2k link contained at this link:
ed2k://|file|Louis%20Vierne%20-%2024%20Pieces%20De%20Fantaisie%20(Olivier%20Latry%20-%20Notre%20Dame)%20(2%20CD)%20(Organo%20Orgue%20Organ)%20Por%20EJGA.rar|207255398|E7391509B81BDF01649BD3E8F4ADE952|h=HEK53CQZXA6VTBPIBZ7OAM7SOVRDTSLY|/
Does anybody know where's the problem? Maybe something about the MIME types?

hi Enaitz Jar,
You have new OS since the times of 0.9?
1.02de-AT starts E-mule also! Provided Your new XP system knows that e-mule has to handle this protocol - then k-m says a new application must be started to handele this protokol - click ok or cancel ( tested by Maria on her system where e-mule has properly installed ). & greetings from her
else when system does not know e-mule You get fault message: k-meleon cannot handle this protocol ( tested on my system where e-mule is not installed ).

Well, this said, I think it's a problem of the spanish translation because I receive absolutely no message when I click on this ed2k link.
No "k-meleon cannot handle this protocol" message and no "a new application must be started to handele this protocol - click ok or cancel". In some webs it does nothing (but does not freeze) and in others moves to a new page and then does nothing (probably this happens because the first link link to a new page and then starts the eMule link).

Try with German version - because that is verified to handle e-mule calling.
If it does not on Your system - it is from system not browser.
These message windows could come from chrome.
Check that with console2.

Well, Guenter, as always you're of real help.
The problem is ours, the german version works perfectly managing ed2k links, so now we will have to guess what went wrong ...
Thanks for your help, salute and thank Maria for testing it by me.

Try to exchange parts of k-m es-ES with de-AT. First try with complete de-ATchrome.
Then other parts... dll etc.
Remember to work with new profile each time.
