problem with proxomitron ( a local proxy)

Hi
I'm using k-meleon with proxomitron since several years.
However, i've got a problem since few times.
Let me explain it: my proxomitron ( a local proxy, an excellent soft) don't work (it tells: "waiting for connections") and however, i can surf on the net (... as if i didn't configure my k-meleon in the purpose to use a proxy... but i've done it!).
Thus, to make it simple: my web browser is configured to use a proxy, but, without a proxy(i shutdown my proxomitron ), i can surf...
Anyone got any idea??
Because, in fact, i love my k-meleon as much as my proxomitron.
Thanks in advance for your help
Pino

P.S: scuse me for my English, which is not my native tongue.

Did you configure Proximitron as your proxy
in Preferences/Proxy ?
It has to be configured as localhost(or 127.0.0.1)
and port 8080, and the connection has to be set
to manual proxy settings, checking the radio button
for this option.

Thanks Fred,
There were a mistake in my configuration ("no proxy for: "localhost" ") ...but i was sure it was not my configuration.
Thanks again... and long live to K-meleon
(un grand merci!)
