K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
Hi,
what so far works very well in each and every other browser I ever used (it did so with Windows XP, and does so with Windows 10)
– IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Epic, aso. –
does not with K-Meleon.
This browser manages to show videos from YouTube, vimeo, facebook and other sites in full screen mode, but fails to do so with videos from the ORF website (available at its subdeomain https://tvthek.orf.at/). There, clicking on the full screen mode button at the videos' lower richt corner, marked with an “X†instead of some kind of rectang- if not square-like symbol, leads to no reaction ba K-Meleon.
What may cause this malfunction is that necessary cookies perhaps cannot load.
Today, when initially navigating to the ORF domain, I hastily denied acceptance of any cookie. Which, when trying to repeat the process, resulted in no more being asked how I wish to handle cookies from orf.at – also not after closing all tabs, clearing everything (cache, cookies, history, address bar history, pressing each browser-history-related button I could find e. g. in settings/browsing/history, then restarting K-Meleon – and all this ten times. But no cookie-handling question showing up at (www.)orf.at or tvthek.orf.at anymore (while full screen mode keeps functioning elsewhere, i. e. at YouTube).
What am I to do now?
Below, you can find part of the error console's content caused by (tvthek.)orf.at (I have no idea which of the roughly 400 entries produced within a few secondes may be helpful, but most of them between the first 5 and final 11 I am quoting look quite similar to the last of the starting section and the first of the ending section).

Technical cookies are always used, regardless of your GDRP cookie permissions.
Anyway, you can manage cookies (deleting the consent cookie to let the site ask again) from the preference panel (F2 key by default).
In the other hand, most of the error log can, mostly, be ignored, as it is CSS.
The culprit might be on the two latest, that are JavaScript errors. Probably the Goanna engine used on K-meleon can't handle it.
Even I have errors like classList.value, which isn't even a function, unless is recently accepted as standard, so... no chances.
Use another browser. That, by the way, half of your examples use the same Chrome engine so... almost all would behave the same as Chrome.
EDIT: it doesn't work on NewMoon, so, almost sure, it needs a recent browser to work
