Olá, suporte Técnico

Tenho instalado o K-Melen 0.9.

Another thing which can be use to translate: the xpi Mozilla corresponding to your language (about 900 kb). It can be found (if it exists) here:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/l10n/lang/moz1.712/ (it seems it doesn't exist for 1.7.13, and it's a reason why I don't use it for my next build)

You have just to rename the xpi with a zip extension (for example) and pen it with your zipper program.

1) Extract the three jar files (for example es-ES.jar, ES.jar, and es-win.jar) in K-Meleon chrome folder.

2) Edit installed-chrome.txt and replace in it these two strings:

es-US/ with es-ES/

and

US/ with ES/

Be carefull not to translate the lines for firefox extensions which are use (mtypes, aggreg8,...), because some extensions aren't made for locale choice. I haven't modified it for locale translations, but I don't have put it online. You must test for each of it to know which extension have locale for you or not (for exemple, it seems the FlashBlock is ok). During your tests, you must do 3) and 4) each time you make a modification to installed-chrome.txt.

3) Delete overlayinfo folder, and chrome.rdf in chrome folder

4) Delete xul.mfl in profiles folders.

5) Launch K-Meleon

That's all folks, with some minor things (about.xthml for example).

Unfortunately, I don't know which code is used fore portugues or bresilian language. It seems don't exists for this language.

@Enaitz Jar:

Due to some computer problems :a motherboard which is out, and on the notepad a battery which is also out (It's probably not my better period), I have some delay to send you the files to translate. I have changed the motherboard and put my 2,5 HD in an external USB box.

I have now just to prepare the files and to sent it you and Guenter.

@Alain.

All right. I've lots of free time these days so I'll be ready to translate whatever you send me.

Looks like you are not having good luck with hardware, have you taken a look about the low motherboard prizes these days? You can get a good balanced quality / prize motherboard too cheap (for example an ASUS a7v600-x with a powerful AMD Sempron 3000+, it's not a dual core but runs amazingly, and later you can buy some RAM and a ATI video card to make it fly).

Well, I have had a better solution:

I've keep an old HP motherboard with a PIII-866, and it's ok. Price: 0€

You can say it's an old motherboard, but my old one supports a PII-350.

So I haven't losen when changing. smiling smiley

Yes, your solution is better than mine :-)

An 866 Pentium III with at least 256 RAM (better if 512) is a fine computer. I can't stop saying I played Mafia on a Pentium III 933 with 256 RAM. Now I've upgraded to 512, but anyway I don't think it will play Doom 3 properly (but who cares when you have 1150 MAME games on a DVD?).

German language files are compatible between all 1.7 versions.
So maybe try older language file?

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/l10n/lang/moz1.72/mozilla-win32-1.7.2-ptBR-installer.exe

that is fairly easy to try and saves much work if success.

and that is like recicle old pc which is maybe good enough ; )

And is the K-meleon also available in German?

Very interesting is, that when I move over the "print"-symbol the pop-up says "drucken" - German for "print" :-)

thx n rgds

http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?f=1&i=25998&t=25998

http://www.labanet.de/
bei Sebastion seine addi kenn ich auswendig

die auf clickfishs ausgabe beruht:
http://www.cappoodoo.de/download.php?id=126&s=info

- eine alternative übersetzung von kko.
http://people.freenet.de/CoolMcKluus/software/kmeleon/kmprefs/

Native "Print" word is a known thing - it draws on Win system menu word for print.

3 German k-m 0.9 versions and one German 0.8 currently available.
More older language files in Wiki.
