K-Meleon Web Browser Forum

Hello i am Dharnish, if siria forgot me, then my first post was this

Anyways.. i wanted to switch from firefox to K-meleon permanently now..
because firefox is becoming a biggg problem to my RAM. - I mean its making my ram hotter every release.
Okay.. so if the developers have some time, then please add an Import/Export feature as it happens with me everyday that i click that star. And now i have a lllooottt of bookmarks and it will be a pain in my ass and neck to add all of them to kmeleon
It would be a miracle if it happened in a few clicks, the perfect scene would be..
I open firefox -> Press Ctrl+Shift+B -> Click on Import and Backup -> Export Bookmarks to html -> I open K-meleon -> Click on the Star -> Click on Import Bookmarks -> select the bookmarks file exported by firefox and tadaa..
All bookmarks i front of my eyes! :'-)
It helps people migrate from one browser to another. Team should really work on it. :3
It will be easy, just use the code that mozilla uses in its bookmark manager (now they call it 'Library') feature and you are on the go.

That guy lost all his interest in a few minutes..
The bookmark section is a very important thing which needs attention!
If you see mybb's http://www.mybb.com/download/merge-system/
then you will notice they are making it easier for people to merge from different platforms. They are not just doing that, but actually they are hypotising people to really use their platform.
I hope kmeleon team works on this bookmarks system..
Make that miracle happen! Make it a reality! Both the Import/Export functions.

For now you can use KM Bookmarks Importer extension to add your old collection to KM-bookmarks file.
Am not an expert on bookmarks, but why not just use the Options and tell KM the path to the exported html-file? This will not copy or import, just use it directly.
Use this forum to talk about a feature you're missing.
Bookmarks features needs upgraded.
