Using KM 75.0 I also viewed the bookmarks.html file in the browser and didn't notice a formatting error. Seems the error is in the bookmarks.html formatting somewhere; but, only affects the bookmark icon>right-click view.

Sometime during numerous KM crashes and me adding huge amounts of bookmarks within hours seems my bookmarks.html file corrupted. The bookmarks corruption is seen by right-clicking the bookmarks icon. The entire left side text area of bookmarks doesn't show--top level folders don't show; <edit>bookmarks inside those top-level folders show as normal.</edit> If I control+B

@Yogi I ran across this in the URL when JS is disabled: https://www.google.com/search?num=100&safe=off&client=kmeleon&hl=en&biw=956&bih=443&noj=1&gbv=2&site=webhp&q= Works with JS enabled or disabled.

Quotesiria Still confused what you may be doing - how exactly do you run a "subsequent" search? If I click "next page" the results do stay 100. "Subsequent": Run a search with a term, it yields results. If I use the same page again (not closing the prior search results page) to run a second search, then it yields 10 results per page. Quoteyogi That's what I'm meaning too... Straight www.google.com doesn't work for me to yield 100 results; but my modified link now works in KM-UA (whereas I'm rather sure it didn't work before, or at least at one point in time) only the very first time; reverting to 10 results per page on a subsequent search.

Quotesiria www.google.com/search?num=100&q=%s That's another option that indeed works on my pc setup, with the default KM-UA. Editted in: www.google.com/search?num=100&q=%s for me does 100 results the first time with KM-UA and reverts to google's default 10 in a subsequent search. Same for in FF browser.

Yogi, I'm meaning 100 results per page by default, without logging in and going to Advanced and setting it. Using the logged-in-method, if the cookie is deleted it resets back to the default 10 results per page; my method is always 100.

Quotesiria Glad it works now! ..,. The placement is a bit confusing though, the 2 JS-buttons have the proxy-button in the middle... Not in mine, after modification throughout the years. I rearrange the Privacy bar layout and comment out ones I don't use or like (out: Clear All--I don't want to accidently clear all; Proxy--I use it through the menu very seldom and don't need qu

siria, at the moment I can say: The JS global-previous edition button works as it did in the past, one button controls multiple open pages. The JS Page button applies only to whichever page is in the forefront (currently showing page) when the button is toggled. The other pages remain unaffected--the JS page button is a per-page JS toggle. As the JS Page button is toggeled, it doesn'

siria, even easier: With your hints, I just noticed the 'JavaScript Page' toggle in the KM74 toolbar.cfg is editted out. I knew there was one javascrpt area there; but not two. Making that area active indeed added a JavaScript Page toggle button and it deactivates/reactivates on a page without a page reload (like the pre-KM74), like I like.

QuoteNT Five You mean a simple button to toggle JavaScript ? I'm meaning that in KM74, don't know about KM75 because I don't run that version presently, toolbars.cfg has commented out lines for a javascript button. Uncomment the area of that file. And go to View >Toolbars > check (show) the Privacy bar which contains the javascript button once the file is edited. Yes,

Having used KM to different degrees throughout the years, right now I'm at ~95% KM, with FF minimized in the background. Prior to KM7x, I was perhaps 99.9% KM for years. KM is my preference due to ability to customize (positioning buttons where they are quickly accessable on a regular basis) and security (customizing to run the quickly accessable security buttons), etc. I prefer the quick

I run a custom UA ~99% of the time so that I have Google search yielding 100 results per page in conjunction with a custom 100 results per page url. As far as I recall, I couldn't find any FF, IE, or Opera UA that would work the same with my custom url in KM. Somewhat similarly, I run a custom Google search url in FF with the default FF UA that yields 100 results per page. From what I rec

QuoteEL I mean I agree that NPAPI plugins are unsafe in that they can be used to do harmful things with the system at user space, but that does not mean that this is the sole purpose of plugins. In the same way you could say that every computer program written in C is unsafe, because it can be distributed over the internet and the C API has full access to the system... The WOT toolbar button had the ability to work before KM 7x if a page was opened with javascript disabled and then javascipt could be enabled after the page loaded to re-enable the WOT extension. With KM7x, I've found the WOT toolbar button no longer will work if a page was loaded with javascript disabled then re-enabled.

Quoteguenter While I personaly think that there is not point on switching off lower fallbacks since You loose all protection on sites that have no TLS - You can manually set security.tls.version.min to 1 (via about:config). siria, I'll do that. (I've actually had this problem for many months or maybe a few years; but simply started using another browser only for that problem site. I always have my KM window opening at the same exact size--just a bit too small which causes the gmx-affect).

Hmmm, siria and JohnHell, I'm thinking IE and Pale Moon login to the full-feature version in a smaller window. Got me curious. (After all these years and perhaps KM 1.7-1.6 or whatever version last worked with the gmx-full features actually worked and I didn't know it at the time.)
