You mean bookmarks.dll from this 75|5 update in my 74? I tried this, but then no bookmarks adding is possible at all. I think, I should switch to 75 ...??!!

Part 2: Even with a completely fresh installation the same experience. All settings default, only activated toolbars Bookmarks and Menu. A new bookmar is displayed on the Bookmarks toolbar and in the Bookmarks Edit window, where immediately (in the same session) can be seen under Properties that the URL field is empty.

File manager??? Maybe my question was not clear enough. I mean the editing of the bookmarks displayed on the bookmark taskbar. The bookmarks editor (Bookmarks > Edit ...) of K-Meleon allows to create new folders, to delete folders, to delete individual bookmarks, and to sort bookmarks in a folder. However, a bookmark can not be moved from one folder to another ... a feature which IMHO
