Quoteroytam1 STICKY: ★ K-Meleon 76 - Goanna 3.4.1 Works out of the box on my system XP SP3 German even better than New Moon 27.7.0a2. Which I had installed on 27.11.2017 already. Gameleon: All video formats work says: https://www.youtube.com/html5?gl=DE The mentioned New Moon has an issue with MSE & WebM VP9 and Google search redirects to a CAPCHA page "strange traffic fr

QuoteZvonko QuoteJ.G. ... but I still have not found how to delete or edit some of them (I have a lot including latest Firefox ones). I think you can delete added UAs in the prefs.js (in your profile folder). You will found them in lines containing 'privacy.useragent'. (Edit prefs.js when KM is not running.) Yes You can do it that way. But You can do it by the old macro and prev

There seems to be a workaround to surpass the OS XP owed limits of recent Mozilla browsers. Enable MP4 (H.264 + AAC) HTML5 video I got stuck however with FF ESR 52 saying that the Primetime Content Decryption Module "will be installed shortly". p.s. I had hoped to get that going and look into K-Meleon using it. p.p.s. Used wrong type "integer" instead of "

The problem is that under XP the engine used by FF and KM cannot work for some media types. So it does not work like on Vista or Win 7. It is by design since Mozilla wanted to evade the licence fees for the codecs. You have to use a chrome version for XP to play these media types. I use the XP capable version from here: http://browser.taokaizen.com/ ALPHABET Inc. / Google g

Quoteinter QuoteYogi This is not a K-Meleon bug! Firefox 38 on which K-Meleon 76 RC is based on, isn't supported by Blockchain. Hence it gets blocked. Change K-Meleon's UserAgent to Firefox 45 or higher. I can´t use Firefox 45 or higher because I have an old Pentium III running Windows XP. I probe with Slimboat and The World browsers too, but they don´t open Blockchain Login Pag

Some sites like banks (e.g. Deutsche Bank) use code that prevents saving login data. One older KM had a glitch and saved all or part of these no-save bank logins. But it would only do it once. When You touched the data - it stopped for that site.

QuoteYogi The link you did provide works fine for me (K-Meleon 76RC/Win7). See attached screenshot. It should work on Win10 as well except something got messed up at your end. Same with Win XP. Works. Maybe codec missing?

But I'd use Google! There are some vacation room rental places in or near a random place called: Ikšķile Municipality in Latvia. Advert: " Free wi fi internet connection and LCD TV set with multi-channel cable TV are included." Anyway. If You have a Laptop drive around and find out how far the signal reaches. It used to be a hobby around here some years ago. Find open

Quotejal Hello, I am new here and I would like to ask you about the different versions. I see that the stable version is almost 2 years old and in these years many bugs have been found in all the browsers, openssl, etc. So, is it safe to use or can we be compromised?. Must I change to RC version?. What about pro versions?. Opinions?. Thanks. It is based on an older ESR. Little or no problems

Direct link and list are my personnel idea of best how 2. Yes - the list is also great. These old forums have much in common. User have the same ideas. p.s. MS should have started the joined Windows 10 approach from XP. I say this because of shareholder value, partly. The time was ripe for this business model. But arguably NSA and co wanted their backdoors. & they we

Quotecallahan guenter, I have not kept up with the POS updates for WinXP. There is a thread there for that ... currently at 95 pages: POSReady 2009 updates ported to Windows XP SP3 ENU http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/34-windows-xp/ I read the posts, I think there may be work on a 'update rollup' package by heinoganda. I have seen it mentioned but not much else at this t

Quotecallahan There seems to be a completely new thread started by Dibya about three hours ago over at the MFSN WinXP thread. It's simply called: Extended Kernel for XP (ExtendedXP) http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/34-windows-xp/ Only a few posts for now ... the one project involved really has my interest, if I understand it correctly and that is having USB 3.0 work with WinXP. I have only IE 6. It is not allowed to enter net but the certificates kept in store by windows are also used by chromium project based browsers IMHO. 32 bit versions for XP of chromium are still available. Examples AFAIK. srware iron https://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_download.php advanced http://browser.taokaizen.com/ (code mix that has old features) yandex https://brows

Interesting find - not because they mention K-Meleon or that it works on XP. We knew that anyway. But they have interesting side info. They mention a tool that updates Windows certificates (chrome and IE use that). They also mention an XP project that has similar aims as once Kernel EX for win 9x and the similar project for Win 2000. I signed in there and intend to follow these proj

Banking sites are safe and usually old stable design. You can spoof a newer version so that they do not bug You. I would be nice to have a newer engine but it takes much time. p.s. Bank Seiten sind eh sicher & konservativ. Ihr könnt eine andere FF Version vortäuschen, damit sie nicht nerven. Fall Interesse ist, erklär ich wie. mfG

QuoteAnixx QuotePale as the Moon LOL, even normal browsers need it sometimes. Let's assume Windows uses 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM already, that means max. 2 GB are available. Those are easily filled when running multiple tabs in multiprocess mode of modern browsers. But OK, as you wish. To make 32-bit XP to use all RAM (increase RAM limit) one has to patch one byte in a dll. There is third-party

OT Since I am no dev. QuotePale as the Moon > 32-bit WinXP receives security updates till 2019 LOL. You have to do a registry hack in order to receive those updates which were never tested against XP itself, but rather against "Windows Embedded POSReady 2009". How many people are going to do such a registry hack? How many people can't use those updates anyway because of 64
