...still working on version-3, takes a bit longer than expected... Which painful process?? Right-click on a privbar button and the whole priv menu pops up. Anyway, have added a toggle-all-command and thinking about an own button...

Great thanks, but wondering why scroogle site-search is now commented..? (L-416) And line-172 contains now some js-code - perhaps an accidential leftover from some tests?

You too rodocop (PS: and thanks for your help over there ;-) Frankly I've installed that nice macro since years too, but being a fast typer find myself just typing away in the URL bar, instead of digging through my (extra long) search menu - so never noticed this! Oops... ;-) (easy, just placing the mouse in the beginning of urlbar and inserting "g site:" and at the end the

Have not yet tested the following, but in theory should hopefully work too... around line 370 insert: _SearchPlusDisplay{ setmenu(_("Search &Options"),macro,"",Search_ToggleEngineLock,0); setmenu(_("Search &Options"),macro,"",_ConfigureKeyword,1); setmenu(_("Search &Options"),macro,"",_SearchEngineMove,2); in

Hm yes, although all that copying sounds rather bothersome to me, but if you store and exchange your bookmarks via Opera Server, that could well be more problematic... Anyway, whatever works best for you QuoteSuperhumanAFAIK Opera hasn't called it "hotlink" in many years, since before I started using it in mid-2011; it's just called bookmarks. May well be, but since KM c

Welcome back Darnish You have a bit a funny way of expressing yourself, but if your name happens to have some additional hidden meaning we wouldn't know it anyway ;-) Glad you like KM so much, and are also a fan of the PrivBar, absolutely love that one too! A tip, if you have really huge probs with bandwidth, you may also check out that beta macro with yet more blocking possibilities

Thank you John! Yes that 1-2-3 cycling was pure horror, but now am quite happy with the additional choice-menu But still unhappy with the way too long and awkward main menu, but see no better way, sigh. Have considered your suggestion, but guess will stay with v2 for the moment, otherwise the menu would get even longer. But who knows, feel free to play with the menu yourself, it's

Am not an expert on bookmarks, but why not just use the Options and tell KM the path to the exported html-file? This will not copy or import, just use it directly.

Puuh... that's truly horrible!! And had to struggle quite long now due to complexity, way too many trees to still see the forest, as we say here ;-) First problem was just to find this menu at all! Had to search inside the kmm to just figure out this menu is not by default the context on the search-button, but one must open a separate menu in TOOLS! Then it slowly dawned on me again, yes

Great John, but for the moment I don't have enough time, being completely unexperienced with such stuff. But it's on my list to take a closer look Just did a tiny "normal" menu macro for testing in older KM versions: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,134990

A simple pref-toggle macro to TEST some blocker prefs for EXTERNAL script files, stylesheets, embedded objects, iframes etc. Am not sure how many of those prefs really work or just do nothing, and in which KM version. Feel free to test.... Guess this is mainly interesting for people who want to save as much bandwith as possible or who want to reduce possibly problematic 3rd-party stuff, even

Your constant misjudgment of other people's intentions and your massive emotional problems (everywhere sniffing hate when in reality it's bubbling inside yourself) must pull you down badly. Do yourself a favor and get some help.

When I check in "about:permissions" in KM75 there is only a little selection of prefs. And in my old notes found to check this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permissions-manager-give-ability-store-passwords-set-cookies-more It says the "new permissions manager (...) gives you access to the following": and again only a little part of the prefs. So that's

Wow, it really works?? I don't understand that first/second tab thing (the screenshot only shows one), but as long as download are blocked, that's great! No wait... no? NO?! I can't believe this: the stylesheets-block even works in my old KM1.6??!!! Where did I have my eyes, why have I never found that before?? Meanwhile it dawned on me again Dorian had mentioned some new &qu

Hm, missing checkmarks sounds like the age-old rebarmenu bug in old KM-versions - but thought Dorian had finally managed to fix it lately?? Not sure which version exactly, KM74 or one of the KM75 betas or final... Which version are you using? The thing was the checkmarks show the state as they were when the menu was last opened the normal way (via text menu or right-clicking a button)

QuoteJohnHellThat is unavoidable except maybe by add-ons like AdBlock. I don't know as I don't use them. Yes this page says ABP can block downloading css-files: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14046738/how-to-disable-css-in-browser-for-testing-purposes "install Adblock Plus, then add *.css rule in Filters options (custom filters tab). The method affect only on external style

Am long since wishing for a global CSS blocker too in KM. that prevents downloading css-files at least. Wasn't aware that scripts get downloaded despite being blocked, grmpf... Found an interesting xpi-addon for FF, but if it could help in KM?? https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/block-content/

Hm... alert has no title... The shortcut is a misunderstanding, I never meant to *activate* it, only have a # line prepared as example! Or the above hint for accels.cfg in a comment line. Basically we fully agree that shortcuts are a bit prone to conflict with others.

Hehe, congratulations, your first macro! Looks like you're quite advanced already, and glad you're having so much fun with KM! Can promise you it will occasionally still surprise you after years, by discovering new/old simple tricks I still remember vividly how often I thought in the beginning: What?! Can't believe it, it's really SO easy? THAT's why I didn't get

QuoteJamesDMy question is not about the user's choice of keys. It is what is in $LinkURL if the keys are pressed and the cursor is not on a link. It simply is empty. So this macro adds an empty line, which may later indicate to the user that something was wrong. Another possibility would be to add a check to the macro: $LinkURL=="" ? alert(...) Thinking about it, a possible c

I don't think it's possible, and I don't know any other forum that does that either. I'm a heavy editor myself, but the big majority of people only edit for tiny stuff like correcting typos, changing a color for a word etc. If other readers have read that already and then keep getting that post shown as "new" again and again, they would look at it and think &qu

QuoteJamesDI am very unsure about keyboard shortcut keys. What would happen if they were used when not on a link? I did not include them. Yep same prob here, that's why I want users to choose it themselves But we can still tell them HOW to do it themselves, by at least adding a hint in the kmm (or even prepare a commented setaccel): # Keyboard shortcut - HOWTO: choose your preferre

QuoteJohnHellWindows 10 is a horse out of control. If it only were Win10, sigh... And if it only were "out-of-control" accidentally instead of "fully intentionally by the megatrust-leaders"... Last week I've seen a quote of google's "fine-print": by using one of their services users AGREE that google has the official right to steal and abuse EVERYTH

Yeah, but why not use $LinkURL for collecting, instead of all that clipboard juggling...? For further improvement the send-macro could offer to reset the stored list and start a new one. The alert box is quite handy for this, just add yes-no-cancel buttons and a question like "Delete stored list now?" And perhaps prepare a keyboard shortcut (keys free choice up to Wasi as requeste

Yep, exactly my thought too Just can't resist... This: _linkstore_Add { $_linkstore_tempclip = getclipboard(); setclipboard( "" ); id(ID_COPY_LINK_LOCATION); $_linkstore_thislink = getclipboard(); $_linkstore_alllinks = $_linkstore_alllinks."\n". $_linkstore_thislink ; setclipboard( $_linkstore_tempclip ); } needs no unnecessary complications, just:

UPDATE Here's a working macro, slightly belated... A major bugfix and overhaul of James second macro below (link2clipb), which was based on the bookmarklet Dorian posted below, but had copy errors due to the forum suppressing all the original [ i ] in the code! It's now link2clip version-2, and got a menu line, and an option to create the list with or without additional link NAMES.
