Of course, kernelex is always the first thing I try when a new prog won't run! Yeah and that RAM-explosion is a crime, and completely unnecessary considering they could simply send files as a normal file download... The irony is how they claim their service would be so much SECURER than all others! Ha ha... after forcing users to unblock all sorts of security-barriers first, giving mega

OUFF... Did a quick test with one of my old macros - and it still works! Then tried 5 syntax variations involving macros and functions - all worked!! ?miracle? ==> completely confused.... HA - found it  The miracle is worked in compat75.kmm ==> to have it working in ALL KM-versions, simply use the good ol macro syntax _Adblockplugin_rules { macroinfo=_("Edit the ru

Hmm... the older calls a macro (which I'm well familiar with from older versions), the other a "function" (very unfamiliar to me so far) Of course it's possible to use both methods, after checking if the first version left $cmdline empty yet. But makes me wonder - are all old macros using those getext-modules broken now?

Sounds like there's a bit hope, at least as workaround for public downloads... QuoteJohnHellAs I said a few months back: MegaDL from MegaTools pack. QuoteJohnHell Intead of this extension..., what about use MegaDL from MegaTools passing the URL as a parameter with a macro? I got recommended this tool when I asked in a forum about a simple standalone tool for just downloading files fr

They say here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15994554/download-files-like-mega-co-nz that this is mega's download script: https://eu.static.mega.co.nz/download_46.js But that thread is dating from 2013, so could be outdated. Another post mentioned that mega.co.nz would work fine, only mega.nz be broken. The above js link points to ".co.nz" and opens normal in my browser,

Quoterodocop Russian-based vseyfe.com (where new KM Pro was uploaded to) offers comparable file store, exchange and security capabilities like Mega, but is clean, fast, compatible and gives much more free space (120Gb) clean and fast sounds good (and thanks for the giggle from their hilarious google-translation! Difficult to decipher the german meaning as usual, but with gems like this: thei

QuoteDorianQuotesiriaAnd of course all the hassle with different KM-versions, sigh, if possible I want to keep my macros universal for 1.6,74 and 75. You can check for plugin existence or use the new $VERSION variable (precise but not practical since it returns an internal version number) Yeah that cryptic number doesn't help a thing. Additionally there's a slight danger it could be

What a sick page and non-service >-( Aren't there any "normal" download sites left any more? Found a few interesting explanations here, but may not help much: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2888045 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=832732 https://www.reddit.com/r/MEGA/comments/39hmo4/mega_firefox_extension_issues/ Ah, and they are even

That means I'm simply starting from the bottom-up to open the threads, while trying to avoid clicking the same thread multiple times. Of course, that's a bit tough with the hundreds of new postings we get here every day... Seriously, I unders

Ah I see... as usual, everyone has their own preferred ways In my case, the general navigation works best by starting to type the first 2 characters of my frequently visited sites, that automatically makes the matching history entries (autofill) pop up below the urlbar, so just have to hit the arrow-down button and Return

There seems to be a bug with refreshing the Previous Searches Menu in KM75, some menus tend to get doubled, tripled, 4x, 5x... etc. with each use. A workaround was described here, and used in rodocops KM75 "pro" version: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?2,135002 No idea if that workaround is still necessary in newer KM versions. Must admit in general I'm not overly h

Thanks, great!! That much for Mozilla pretending that blocking html5-vids were SO complicated they didn't manage it in years, despite all efforts, haha And it's really crazy that google "finds" nothing at all about that default pref except in that one little forum out there. Only setting media-exceptions in permissions.sqlite is well known. So, html5-vids can be blocked

If anyone would like to test... This page http://archive.rebeccablacktech.com/g/thread/40913139 claims that "permissions.default.media=2" would block html5-videos and sound, only be undocumented. Anyone can tell if that's really true in newer KM?? If yes, does it block downloading too or only autoplay? Does it block flash too? Can "p.d.object=2" block html5-videos t

No, the KM name in window titles depends from the setting in each profile.

F2 > GUI Appearance (=on top) ==> Field "window title" if that's what you mean? Showing KM version and profile name there is a real help for people testing multiple versions.

QuoteJamesDPerhaps this will this help replace rebarmenu? Quotehttp://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/MacroLanguage2#popupmenu() $RETURN = popupmenu( MENU NAME, VALUE ) ... Note: A menu's numeric id may be used in the id() statement. Ouf, YES! Thank you Although I don't understand for which purpose that Return and id-thing is here for, but played around with it, and looks like this w

Thank you! But sounds like bad news too Any idea when...? Unless there will be other ways to pop up a menu by macro then? Thinking of the new skin system which can open left-click-menus without rebarmenu already... fixed: opening bad URLs (my chrome-xul) does open a new, empty window now - no ghost windows anymore that need taskmanager to kill KM if the last window is closed by windowcorner-X

If all else fails, but a real fix would be a lot better ;-) Can reproduce it now: - Set KM to open typed URLs in a new window - type into URLbar an adress that doesn't work for whatever reason, in my case it was "chrome://content/exexcept/exexcept.xul" - KM does nothing - Click on X to close browser ==> kmeleon.exe stays running in taskmanager This happens in 75.0 + 7

Finally figured out at least why this one macro shows the checkmarks right, but probably will not help much: Its menu appears additionally in the "Main" menu! So when firing rebarmenu (by button or menu) it actually opens the 'normal' menu in the Menu bar! Cleary visible because it opens at the menubar position, not anywhere near where the command was clicked. Even when the

Rebarmenu has a new bug in KM75.1RC(up1). The menu is way too narrow. In 75.0 it shows normal. Big Prob: in both versions the rebarmenu-checkmarks are broken again I remember it had been fixed some months ago in some earlier version... For testing: add this line to any of your macros, then find it on top of View-Menu: setmenu("&View",command,"test rebarmenu Priv"

Juju, just noticed in this moment that it's true, and it was really scary! Am experimenting with KM75.1RC trying to get an extension to work, noticed 75.1 has a new macro bug, wanted to test in 75.0, it didn't have it, then closed it again and started KM75.1 again - but it opened with my 75.0 profile!! And without asking which profile at startup! Couldn't believe it, restarted 3x,

Couldn't resist and made Version-3 of the kmm-file, to create a button (not pretty, but a button) And moved the menu line from Tools into the PrivMenu. If you want a toolbar button, install version-1 from first post, then - copy the attached bmp-image from THIS post into the skins/default folder - and the attached kmm-file into the macros folder (overwrites version-1) Edit:

Thank you Am still working on version 3, but if anyone wants to get SITE exceptions, strongly recommend to check out this GREAT and tiny extension: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,124407 Basically it allows to create a black-white-list for special domains, while the job of the permdefs macro is togging the GLOBAL default settings. So both macros are related, and I'd throw

Can't believe it... again! What a great little extension, exactly what I was missing for years, while it was here all the time!! *dropdead* A full flegded sqlite-editor and the whole thingie just tiny 12kB, incredible. And working even on win98, and in KM1.6!! Had it even downloaded a year ago, that's where I stumbled upon it again now, but never got around to test and then forgot it ag

Finally got around to copy and unzip 75.1 RC1 upd1 on Vista to quickly check a few things. Still missing in out-of-box menus are: - Open file... - (browser) Offline all other commands can be found in the compact menu, only those 2 important ones seem to be missing yet. It appears the compact menu is the replacement for the hidden main menu, so it should be complete, which it is except for t

Need a Like Button Yeah I know it's an age old brilliant trick in KM, but still forget it from time to time *shame*. And wouldn't that be the PERFECT out-of-box setting for the menu bar?? It takes almost no space, yet the people who desperately seek it can easily find it! Please make it so...

Have you tried View>Toolbars>Menu? Then again, no, ALT alone doesn't pop it up, but the Alt-Keys work anyway (Alt+V = View menu etc.)

Certainly not a bug, you just have blocked something. The possibilities are endless with the newer engines though... Perhaps the quickest way: Open page "about:config", ignore the warning, and take a look at the BOLD settings. Bold (fat) text means "= not default, set by user". If they sound like having to do with videos, right-click on them to "reset". That'
