all the complex ff-extensions adapted for KM 1.7 and older, need to be reconstructed in order to use them with KM74 and newer

Hao, that's great that KM CCFME is revived! But I've found one strange glitch there: when right-clicking on any active link and choose 'Go to URL' - then it always redirects to KM CCFME download link :O

guenter, I fully agree with you: we need to merge all the best from all devs to get the best possible K-Meleon!

Look for it under Edit->Manage Skins 'Save current layout' writes config values into ini-file in your profile folder. 'Change to saved skin' loads config and restarts KM. So the dependency is the KM restart extension (or just restart it manually)

Well done! The best way to save the toolbar config is to use SkinSwitcher by JamesD included in his beta2.6 (from my sig) It's attached to this post. Unpack into KM folder and enjoy!

Quoteguenter The omni.ja(r) are to accelerate start up. Sensible to use. I am regurgitating info from Mozilla.org. About two or more years old - so do not ask me for links. I understand this. But the 'open' folder structure allows easier extensibility for KM by its own addons - 'unpack and use'. Would this possibility be available in new KM (may be in Profile folder)?

I have a question too: is it supposed final release to have all chrome jars inside omni.ja (like in beta) or in traditional KM folder structure (like in 74b-d builds)? What would the final architecture look like?

adodupan had made the setdefault replacement for old KM, working from new js-file inside kmprefs.jar (exe-file is not needed more). This one - as I can suggest - works in KM74 too. My assemblies have it biult-in.

What build do you use in Twin? If 1.7 then search about LastPass here on forum and read threads. It was discussed in details during last 2 years.

Quotepjpw2320 rodocop Is KM74d not ok to download on its own? I'm just curious why you mentioned downloading 74b then d and overwriting. Thanks. 74d is OK but its doesn't contain XUL engine :O

Quotepjpw2320 The Evernote bookmarklet has not worked for me in either Twin or KM74. I cannot even find an Evernote bookmarklet on Evernote's site to check the Javascript. I have found third party sites with an Evernote bookmarklet but these do not work either. Maybe Evernote no longer supports the bookmarklet and requires the web clipper? Some bookmarklets need to make an 'allow

Keyword Autosearch from URLbar is REAL UNIQUE POINT of K-Meleon. It should be switched back on if possible. No one other browser has such a navigation type.

Personal Toolbar (=Bookmarks Toolbar) can be easily resized when toolbars are unlocked by moving the right neighbor toolbar to the left: this would hide as much of it as you want. Just move the toolbar handle (separator) in the desired position.

this is 'official' and most recently updated. More actual extensions are here on forum in different threads.

Sorry, Kandra, I'm getting slightly lost in all the updates that our devs are producing almost daily. Adodupan makes it a little bit easier with the list of changed files, but I still need much time and (!) understanding to bring all things together in one Twin package. And I haven't enough ... silence and hmm... solitude to get into and make working package. But I surely will

James, all 3 main devs (Dorian, naruman, adodupan) are making their changes un parallel so we need to breed all 3 assemblies in one taking the best from all of them. I'll try to, but it's really hard work ;-) But the Twin 2014 will consist of all the newest files and maximum functionality. So it'll take some time to track all the changes...

one more improvement is adodupan's magic UserAgent autochooser. But we need the precise description of changes made in every assembly as it very difficult to find all the modified places in every assembly by Dorian, adodupan, naruman... I'm trying to track all changes but it's really inconvenient and hard work ;-)

Mikk, and finally - my sig is fixed about 1.6db+ build from dugbug. He had deleted his links but I've reuploaded that package to my own box account and it's downloadable now.

Good job, comrade adodupan! One question: are your fixes, published earlier in 'Extensions' section included in this package?
