QuoteJujuLand As this thread contains a really great number of silly posts, I begun to remove post by post these stupidities. Due to the number of posts to delete, I obviously failed during the process, and remove the thread instead of a post. Thank god, but at least, as you revived it again, you could have set the thread name and, therefore, the page title, the thing that most people checks in

That is because about:preferences hasn't been implemented to Firefox/Gecko until version 3x (but above 31 sure). In Firefox 31 doesn't work either, as the options panel is still the "old" window.

Quotesiria Okay, so things are clear now: - the native prefs do inject the color, but without the "important" rule To clear a little more. The pref has nothing to do with CSS, so the important has nothing to do here and they aren't injected. If you want to compare it with CSS to understand it better, it is ok. But the best way to understand this is with the old browsers,

QuoteJamesD Yes, I got the visited links to show using just the prefs. HOWEVER they only show if you change the color to something other than 551A8B. Why would the default be the same as all other links? Edit: They showed on the example page that JohnHell posted. When I backed out of general forum to the forum list, everything was blue again. I am going back to my code in usercontent.c

Quotesiria Quoterodocop Quotesiria browser.visited_color (String) #551A8B layout.css.visited_links_enabled (bool) true this is present in all modern KM builds but doesn't work... Of course - now that you say it... At least in my KM1.6 it obviously doesn't work, or I wouldn't need my button! But pity if it doesn't work in newer versions either, sure had hoped so

Quoterodocop Basic speeddial is available in experimental 74+1 assembly by naruman and maybe it would be added to official K-Meleon sometime. Write now you can get this option with Speed Dial extension. Oh!, really!. My macro is canceled, then. I had no idea of its existence.

But, is that one the requested emoticon? I could add it and post a new update for that. Just confirm it and I'll do.

Quotesiria Whoa - 70 smileys!! And some very nices ones, many look familiar from other forums, although a few others I'd probably never use here... Must admit, as much as I love smileys, usually am too lazy to switch on JS and reload again for the rare use. But who knows, perhaps will now do it more often in the future when needing a special one Hey, I'm not either, but sometimes

QuoteChanson Yu Found a serious bug: Try deleting the NewsFox extention ({899DF1F8-2F43-4394-8315-37F6744E6319}.xpi) in \browser\extensions folder, then start and right click on anywhere in K-Meleon,it crash! I confirm this, and I didn't delete, but disabled it from about:addons, with the same result.

Hi there, I found that zooming out the whole page creates a "simulation" of a wider screen viewport and, therefore, the pages that are designed with responsive CSS are correctly viewed without changing the Windows desktop screen dimensions, just zooming out. Now I can see my operator site without problems. With tinier font, but I least I don't need to make complex tricks.

Quotesiria Have noticed the KM site is now redirected to the external homepage, and wondering if it's mirrored or just somehow linked... The site is in the same host, but Dorian bought a cooler name  He just changed a few settings to the DB configs, nothing else. From now, both domains/urls are valid, but redirects to kmeleonbrowser.org. Get used to it. I think it came to stay

Quotesiria Hmm, forgot it because in the past an older FF agent used to give "old browser" warnings on youtube, unlike the native KM1.6 agent - or so I thought. Perhaps I remembered that wrong, or perhaps youtube actually removed that warning now?? At any rate it doesn't show, with neither KM nor old FF name. No, you were right. If unknown, HTML5, if known, Flash :/ Now, ev

Alternatively, there is no need to move from SourceForge, but there could be needed an additional step required by the user. ClamWin signs their files with PGP/GnuPG, so a check confirms if they have been modified. In case of ClamWin, no file has been modified by SF to date. Also, to avoid the step to the user, the installer could request to download the .asc signature file to check validit

I don't know where are the certificates stored. Some file in omni.ja I can't find. But for your exact issue, you need to carry from profile to profile, the cert_override.txt file. There are the exceptions. You can import the certificate from here (save the text to a .pem file and import) (they will import to cert8.db): https://knowledge.symantec.com/support/ssl-certificates-suppo

The sessions bug was fixed no more collision with spellcheck. I didn't have the crash with deletions so I can't tell about that. I think I reported too late the history open behavior, so still there, hope we can see it in Final or 75.1, or just know if it is or it isn't fixable. About what you said, should this be considered as Final, or when you release the installer we

A behavior I just found with YouTube and K-meleon, starting today, is that, with independence of the version of flash (13.x or 18.x), if you have the user agent set to default, without Firefox compatible option, it plays the HTML5 version. I post this in this thread just in case happens to someone and thinks the versions aren't recognized or compatible with K-meleon.

Today I think I finally confirmed, but, please, re-confirm. The history will Open (the first menu command of the context menu or just click on an item) the item in the last opened window, not in the window the history has been called from. This is annoying because, in the end, it replaces the page of the last window. Worst if in that page there is a process where shouldn't/couldn'

I think the question has a beyond "thread"/discussion topic, and it is to ask if there is some kind of interest of moving the project to any other source pages and if this has been discussed "internally". At least is how I understood his question. There is quite a huge alarm.

Looks might be related to flashblock. The first time the site said I hadn't flash installed, then after allowed in adobe test site (the one you should care about), it did. Another test site http://playerversion.com/ Forget what some tests say expecting whatever special environment.

He refers to this: http://www.computerworld.com/article/2931575/open-source-tools/sourceforge-fail-itbwcw.html The intentional injection of "malware" through downloaders/installers for abandoned/semi-abandoned projects. Similar to what cnet.com does with its download.com

This time, the latest version to test compatibility as it will be the ESR from August. NPSWF32_18_0_0_160.7z At least, till the above version, 18.x branch works with Windows 2000 with wrappers/kernel extenders too. Thanks for the link to the new ESR blog entry and to notify us of the new version, 4td8s. I just forget in what day I live and I don't follow Adobe's blog, nor have

Quotesiria And meanwhile also noticed, slightly shocked: There are absolutely NO options anymore how much history to store? Only keep ALL forever or clear ALL now? :O That's a major bummer, no way... Explanation: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,127500,127500#msg-127500 In other words, now is impossible to set a specific amount of time. And as the history is placed in

What do we hate, Siria? Yep, cookies. The thing I just tested is that you can search, with different google domains and with different results for each with cookies blocked. When you type google.com, it redirects to your country specific. But, if you visit google.com once with the url https://www.google.com/ncr accepting cookies, at least for session, no more, then doesn't redire

QuoteCapH Hi, I used to disable Javascript and would like to set an exception for some sites like Facebook, Youtube, but this simply take no effect. For some others sites, it works fine. What's wrong ? What exactly are the steps you are are following? Have in mind that disabling Javascript globally won't make Javascript work when found a whitelisted site as Javascript isn't

Steps to reproduce? Post in the K-meleon 75 RC3 thread in Announcement subforum. Once confirmed Dorian will know if there is needed a fix. I, myself, can't reproduce that bug :-?
