Feed back: after the un-installation of K-Meleon I still had to delete manually the folder \K-Meleon\ in: \Dokumente und Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\. (What it is called in english, please do someone else better.) Now the new installation does work and KM starts, again.

Un-installed twice, 1st: without removing the settings-files. 2nd: with deleting these files, and CrashReport.exe. Each without rebooting after un-installing. Now un-install all. And Reboot. Install 75.0. And install CrashReport. And try again.
