Yes I know that 7 zip is required But your steps are not working Let me make my circumstances clear, Recently I did some security tweaking and used nlite to remove some services and tweak the XP with some apps and disabled some services I just think this might be the problem I am typing this from K-Meleon latest stable

It seems I cannot run and test 1.6 I extracted it to a folder and when I click K-Meleon 1.6, it fails to start and I get an error that " This application is not properly installed. Reinstall it" I am on Windows XP SP3

New Age is a big shit :mad: I cannot understand why in the US people are talking about the separation of church and state when companies and governmental departments are embracing New Age thinking and ideas Isn't New Age blah blah just another religion? Hell lot of mad men around nowadays.:O Anyway, Microsoft will never catch up with Chrome unless it unplugs IE from the core

@ Terry I already tested IE 9 on my Win 7 and Vista few days back. The new Javascript engine is called Chakra, a Hindi word So I think that an Indian is working on it. Just a guess.

Mozilla Minefield works in XP because I am testing it on XP. Direct2D and DirectWrite will only work on Win Vista or Win 7

I have found these bugs in K-Meleon 1.6.0a3 (Build 4, 2010-03-01, Gecko 1.9.1) Under Preference Under Macro Extensions I unchecked Zoom, NewsFox, Mail and IE and restarted K-Meleon but it failed to start. It showed an error Therefore, I had to delete all K-Meleon folders in User Folder and reinstall for it to work again
